  1. honestly not sure yet!! i was going to do a kinda rock of ages i saw a painting he did on his website but he told me he already did that on a friend of his.. I'll probably do something semi traditional like a pin up. Man i don't know.... he is not an easy person to get work from so it makes it that much harder to decide!!!!!!!!!!! - - - Updated - - - maybe even a cobra..
  2. The one and only Tim hendricks! Next month gonna travel to Cali but still haven't decided what I will get!! He does everything so well.............
  3. you never know.. seems like there are a lot of traditional fans on this website..
  4. not sure if anyone has seen my garver dragon and tiger tattoo. It was done on the left side chest torso area... Now I'm working on my right side. I have black n grey eagle head on my chest. My idea is to do a cobra and skull below the eagle head to cover the torso area on my right side. Not sure it will look good in that area .. Since all of my tattoos on that side is black n grey was thinking of doing the cobra in black n red... Still haven't made up my mind what to do in that area.. My only other idea was to put praying hands... Would love to hear some ideas!
  5. Nice I was actually thinking of getting Chris to do a pin up on me but still trying to make up my mind... So far I think i'm going to do a skull and cobra for the next one . Maybe in the future i'll get him to do a pin up...
  6. I thought I had it won... Thanks for the complement!! Nice Rock of Ages btw!!
  7. Are you kidding me.. It's amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. actually your tattoo with fade a bit in about 2 to 3 months. All my tattoos (black part) fades from super black to grayish black. I would wait until then..
  9. I found that A&D was horrible.. I also think that 3 to 5 days is overdoing it. I used that product for my first tattoo and I got a minor breakout as well. Since then I've been using aquaphor and haven't had a problem. I only use aquaphor for a day. Then I leave the tattoo alone for the next day or so.. Just make sure you clean it couple times a day of course. After that I use plain lotion.
  10. I re-wrap only because I don't want to stain my sheets or clothing... I used to do it for 24 hours but I found that 12 hours is good enough.. I healed the same in other words. I do put lotion on but I usually wait a good day or so before i do . It all depends where I get tattooed.
  11. Yeah that is what he's known for but he's great at all styles as well!!
  12. Check out Vincent Moisdon at Colorfast Studios. In my opinion he's the best in Ft. Lauderdale area!
  13. very nice!! I also have one from Justin! Wish my first tattoo was that good!! haha
  14. No I don't think that is stealing.. If the subject matter is the same but done differently then it's not stealing. I've seen thousands of say dragon and tiger tattoos.
  15. I was actually trying to defend Chris by saying he doesn't charge 400 per hour... I never said how much he actually charges! I know how much he actually charges because I have a tattoo from him. The other guy you are talking to never got a tattoo from him... Having said that I totally think I got an awesome tattoo and worth every penny!
  16. if you have instagram check out my other tattoos. Killercook76 is my id .
  17. Come to NYC.. Yeah Chris is a super nice guy and so damn talented! Watched him draw up my tiger .. Was like WOW... I'm so happy he's in NY now!! I got one of his dragons as well. He does everything so well it's hard to decide what i want from him..
  18. Wow looks crazy good!! Bit different then mine but so good!! what else do you have from him? I getting a cobra from him next month.. I think a cobra and skull.. Can't wait!
  19. can you post your garver tiger? would love to see it!!

  20. open to suggestions is a hard way to go.. I would think of a subject matter first then go to a shop and talk with an artist. With the internet it's easy to see how good the other artist in a particular shop is. Japanese tattoos don't look like paintings to me.. then again I'm no artist.. haha Honestly I would look around on the internet or instagram.. Check out different designs and artists.. Narrow what you would like as a tattoo then go to a shop . Like i said Kingsave has various different artist and each one does different styles.. Justin , Phil, matt, and ofcourse Mike Rubendall.. Justin Weatherholtz does realistic stuff well. Also Matt "skinny" Bagwell does guest spots couple times a year.. Check out these guys on instragram..
  21. usually going with a more simple design is better...
  22. how about an owl standing on a stack of books??
