Checking kicks=Anderson Silva's worst nightmare.

My kickboxing coach just retired at age 64, after teaching for over 30 years. I will miss him dearly but I'll be setting up mats and my bag in the new garage to keep sharp. My wife also kickboxes so I have someone to hold mits :).

Getting the keys to our house on Friday. 2.5 acres for our kids to run around in. Also had the pleasure of speaking with Marcus Kuhn today about a piece. He was super-chill and I hope to see him in the next few months. My dragon sleeve is almost completely done minus some finishing details on the leaves. The wife is getting another promotion here soon.... If my dad and siblings weren't losing their marbles I might be concerned about how well things are going :)

Welcome to Lst from another northwestener :)

Balls deep into the home buying process. The inspections have been done and we're only a few weeks away from signing our lives away. Speaking of which, time to get packing! Wheeeeee! P.S. Time has been a precious and scarce commodity as of late; I hope the LST crowd is doing well!

Our next dog will be a giant, lazy, drooly mastiff. I can't wait :) @Graeme. I have owned whippets and greyhounds growing up (along with a dozen other breeds). I crack up when you post vids of yours. I actually had a whippet/greyhound cross that was the lone survivor of a litter that was born on my water-bed while I was away at school (around 10 years old) When I got home I found my water bed in tatters, water everywhere, and my mom holding a lone puppy. All of the puppies had fallen to the edges, and as anyone fluent in water-bed physics knows; water beds are black holes for anything unlucky enough to get caught on the sides. The mother had clawed the thick plastic to pieces in an effort to save them. Sadly, all but one had suffocated and or drowned. The last was a beautiful brindle dog named Ninja that grew up to be my best friend for a decade :). His favorite things to do were fly around our 17 acre farm and lick the place where his balls used to be. /pour some out for the homies.

Fricking righteous dude :).

I saw this pop up on my feed earlier. I love me a strong knee tattoo.

I imagine there would be fun psychological factor involved in the neck tattoo. I would constantly be thinking of Gary Oldman in a powder wig. Guess I won't be ready for the Warp Tour anytime soon :(

Have used it on the last few sessions with wonderful results. I typically have difficulty healing secondary to activity and my working conditions, but with the Tatuderm it's been a breeze. No scabbing, minimal peeling for a day or so after I remove it, and little to no itching whatsoever. Win win :) Although I will miss tormenting my wife with bed-time fruity pebbles.

Sheep are useless animals whose only purpose are to be bad Xmas sweaters or to make gyros delicious. Edit: please tell us a little about yourself; pose any questions; and share pictures of any tattoos you may have. Welcome to the forums :)

It's months away but I'll be spending a couple of days with Henrik Grysbjerg Instagram during his visit to Off the Map Northwest in August. I don't have what I'd like set in stone yet but I'd like to start working on my squid pants. I'm super stoked that things are coming together with him. I contacted Jeff Zuck about a funky Poseidon on my other leg during my visit to Michigan in March. I'm going to start an off the wall greek god theme on that leg. I also thought Prometheus, one hand holding fire and the other petting an eagle on his shoulder would be fun. Jeff opted for Poseidon, probably a wise move. Nothing is set in stone yet so hopefully everything falls into place. I am also dangerously close to finishing my Dragon 3/4 sleeve with Matt Cowell Instagram which has been slightly less than a year in the making. Only a couple of sessions to go. Matt is such an awesome guy and it's been a blast getting to know him. My wife booked an appointment with @whitneyfromm - whitneyfromm's Instagram photos | Statigr.am out of Bonney Lake, WA for June. Whitney is super nice and my wife is stoked. The only person I've contacted that doesn't look like it will be panning out is Adam Hays. He's changed up his scheduling process recently and has been getting quite selective with what new pieces he will be starting. No worries though. Derek Noble, Jesse Roberts and a bunch of other rad artists just opened their own shop in Seattle Instagram. I'm going to pop my head in there soon just for fun and to see what Jesse's schedule is like. Love his work!Instagram Wheeeee!

Welcome to the forums! Portland is a great place to grab a sandwich and a tattoo.

Hahahaha, that was amazing. I hope they got a happy ending after that back massage. Edit: kind of reminded me a science fair volcano eruption.

Getting back from our road trip down to Cali today. Stopped by Off the Map northwest on the way up through Oregon just to sight-see. Super nice shop/people. If the stars align I'll be headed back down in august to get a piece from Henrik Grysbjerg who will be guesting for a few days. Crossing my fingers for a busy tattoo year!

Welcome to LST. We can point you in the direction of good shops, but any detailed cover up advice should be given in person by whomever you choose to do the work.

I'm taking a trip to michigan mid 2014 and emailed Jeff to see what his availability is. I envy you the proximity to him. He does some killer stuff! Welcome to the LST!
