We shall see you next time :) And everyone else who made it, you guys are so awesome! I had a great time sharing a meal with all of you, it was really cool to see your faces and all of those fantastic tattoos I've been 'liking' over the last few months. Such a rad group of people, can't wait to see y'all again at the State of Grace convention next month.

I just thank them and tell them. I don't see any reason to be rude to people just cause they have poorly done tattoos.

And sadly, not all tattooers care to learn as much about tattooing as they possibly can. I totally relate to your sentiments and it also frustrates me. As @JAllen was saying, we can never really know anyone's reason behind getting a tattoo. And truly, I think a lot of people are totally satisfied with mediocrity. Ohhh well :cool:

I was born and raised out here, and all that it comes down to is the fact that the sound of the word Frisco offends my ears.

If the tattooer who got that isn't particularly skilled, is it really a surprise? Honestly though... bummer, but oh well. Shit happens, learning happens. Bad tattoos happen, better tattoos happen. I think the responsibility lies on anyone getting tattooed as to what they will let someone put on their body. There are no excuses for doing a piss-poor job, but it's not like you can do much to stop someone from driving into a ditch. Maybe we should all just get some LST-style business cards printed and just hand them out to people with bad tattoos, haha :p

Hi, welcome! I think your best bet is to reference from the source. We can always help you find an artist who would do a great job on the tattoo you're looking for. My suggestion is to do some research and find as many photos as you can of ancient Greek armor or old paintings of Greek battles and bring those in to your artist, let them know what sort of style you're looking for, what kind of mood you want through the piece, and just let them do their thing. When getting a tattoo, you are essentially hiring someone for their talent, vision, and creativity. Giving an artist a general idea while trusting them to follow through is the best way to get a totally fantastic tattoo. Let us know if you have any questions and I hope you enjoy it here!
