Got the lining done on tuesday with Uffe Berenth. Looking foward for the handpoking on friday evening ! :) (Poor photo i know but i can't really get a picture of something all around my calf in one shot haha :p )

Welp.. I just lose my job as of today due to a lack of upcoming project. If I dont find another quick i'll have to cancel my appointment :( (If anyone has info about a job in engineering firm in montreal for a mechanical technician pm me hahahha)

I have an appointment for the Montreal convention in September with Uffe Berenth on the lower leg with a Huginn and Muninn design. Had my place reserved since January, been jumping all around the place ever since!

Couldn't go for the past 2 years. But I keep a good memorie of meeting with you guys (and god the poutine was good) ! I have a project with Uffe Berenth on the lower leg :) getting the lining on tuesday and the handpoking on friday! I just can't wait!

Had the same thing happens this summer from my mom and my gf ( at the same time), working outside all days I made sure to have something on my arm all the time ( i used a long sock with the end cut) just put a bit of lotion on and suddenly they had no words. *Thanks for the good words :)

Went to the hospital on monday for my weekly blood test (under cancer treatment, so i'm followed by my doctors very often) and the nurse, who was maybe in her late 50s, just went on about how she loves "it", being my full sleeve. Grabbing my arm, twisting it in all directions, trying to lift the sleeve of my shirt all the way up or my collar down to see where it goes. I was just sitting there playing the rag doll. Understand me, SHE's the one with the needle. Pretty shitty monday nontheless.

Damn i'm glad nobody decided of a tattoo for me when I was going to the bathroom :P

It was really nice seeing you all! Good meal with awesome people ! I'm still sorry for leaving early, had to go take my stuff where I stayed the night before and go see some of my cousins, can't see them often so... yeah :/ Sorry about your hearing Mark :( I couldn't really hear everything everyone said either to be honest, it was kind of crowdy and the noise level wasn't the best for me who can have a hard time with english XD I'll definitly be there again next year! (Oh yes, totally gonna get my right butt cheek tattooed with a hungry hamster. I bet that sounds crazy. Does it sounds crazy? ahah )

Is there a group meeting at the convention or will we see each others only at the restaurant in the evening? P.S.: How would I know which table is it? Probably a dumb question... lol :P Forget it

Having a last minute project, trying to find an artist I like for it. *White Rabbit running screaming I'M LATE! I'M LATE!!!* Hopefully I'll get a positive answer. Olivier Glamort having a cancellation on saturday is by best chance I guess. Send a e-mail to Dimitri Hk. Erf... I'll see what I can do when I'll get there. Otherwise I'll do it next year, being prepared sooner. Edit: Oh well god damnit, I was able to pay 200$ for this. (Really not a big tattoo but I understand that they have to make a bit of money too) But Dimitri only accept project of at least 400$. I have my sleeve in the process so i'm a bit low on the money I can spend... damn. I'll do it next year.

Doing the same with my first one, Kanji (yeah i know, I KNOW!!!) on my left pectoral designed like its carved in wood bla bla bla. Still love it. When I get my shirt off (for any particuliar reason, but most of the time it is when someone else take it off, if you know what I mean) They go: " Ohhh!! What does it means? " I just tell a different story most of the time, but my favorite is: -Oh you know, I love beef and onions pie. So this one stands for beef, and this one onion. Now I'll remember that I love it for ever! -Really? -Yeah. -It's strange. -Mhh ummm...

I looked at some artist with her, she liked Manutea from Imago. We shall see in a year ;)

Quick question.. why can't i create a new threa in the tattoo advice section? I want to ask advice for a tattoo artist in Montreal for my little sister. She's turning 18 soon and she wants a tattoo (i reaaaally don't want ther to turn out with a piece of garbage) She wants a lotus on her neck... like this one I was thinkg that a dotwork style would be nice and she seems to like it. Still asking her to wait 1 more year to think it out, be having some artists' names already would be great. (I was looking in my area but couldn't find anything but "meh" work around here) Help me guys?

By the way where I live the only time I get to speak english is when some tourist ask me question on the road in the Old Capital. Otherwise it is only on the internet :P

If you see your professors again tell him that he can go f* himself :P I think it is more of an old grudge than an actual difficulty. @Graeme Nous allons peut-être nous croisé à la convention de cette année :P Je n'ai malheureusement pas pu y assister l'an dernier malheureusement. J'aurais beaucoup apprécié aller à ma première convention de tatouages!

I'm good :P Thanks for the greetings and yes, i'm from Quebec, which is the city with the same name as the province in Canada. Montreal is a metropole, so still a big city and don't worry about the barrier language because many people there only speak english. Would still be great if you could learn french there is kind of a linguistic "war" here. (Long story about the colonial French and the Britain but we sre still fighting to keep our language which is more and more difficult with each new generation, anyway...) I can't really answer about the tattoo market in Montreal or Canada in general, I know some artist in the metropole are recognize like Olivier Glamort ([/url] ) and maybe Eric de L'Étoile with his dark style ( https://www.facebook.com/eric.deletoile.9/photos ) don't hesitate to go visit their shop. I can still say that people are more and more interested in tattoos every day. Canada is like any other occidental culture based country :P Same sh*t different places i guess. (Major difference is that it's cold like hell in winter). I don't know about your educational system in america in regards of learning french, but in my opinion French is French. There is differant accents like in France, Marseille, or even here from some place around the province. There is "joual" which is like the slang you have in america i guess. This is probably what some of your teacher are referring to. And don't worry i won't judge, my english isn't perfect either but I appreciate the efforts you do :)

Hi! My name is Philippe, I am from Quebec (the city in the province). So yeah, I speak French and no, i will not try to make some excuses for my bad english, but I'll do my best! I'm probably not as tattooed as the majority of people here, with the only one I have on my left pectoral (did it 3 years ago... damn already 3 years?) but will soon have my complete left arm done on a Alice in Wonderland theme (more like a nightmare than a Disney like). Most of the inspiration coming from the game Alice Madness Returns which I discovered a bit after the initial idea. Anyway! I'm pleased to be here, already looked at some topic and will look foward for some more interesting subjets!
