    Well... This marks 6 months since I took my daughters and left an angry wee man who had a hold over me for 10 years of my life. I guess leaving an abusive relationship is pretty awesome. I think a couple of drinks tonight, whilst packing up the house to move tomorrow ,is in order !

    So here she is.. I'm pretty in love with her.. shes different from the other girls hes done for me. Its right above my elbow on the back of my arm (look how swollen my elbow is!)     Blonde nurse ladyhead on the back of my left arm done today by the wonderful Alec Benjamin at Red Hot n Blue tattoo in Edinburgh. Pics to follow once he posts up on Instagram. I absolutely bloody love her. ( you can check out Alec's work on Instagram @ALEC_REDHOTANDBLUE he's visiting America as of June and is guesting at a few places starting in Minneapolis )

    I am getting tattooed at a fast rate! I'm not really in pain as much as just itchy and my immune system is well and truly ready for a reboot! My tattoo artist isn't sure if/when he's going to be returning and i really want the majority of my left arm to be done by him hence the regularity of the appointments! Being tattooed is also something i've repressed for a long time.. it feels like a relief to finally be allowed to do what i want with my body :)

    Thank you so much for your advice! I wish i were closer.. it's tempting to wait until i can afford to come visit you! Had a good deek at your instagram and your works fantastic! i hear what you're saying about Etsy and would defo only ever use it as a reference. My dad says i can't get morrisey tattooed on me with fluttery eyelashes haha! cheers again for your advice and reply :) x

    i'm hollyjoybee on instagram aswell. Post pictures of tattoos, my children, the sky and self indulgent/self obsessed photographs of myself! (mostly its alot of shite but theres the occasional interesting pic!)

    i haven't really got anything helpful to say re placement.. i didn't know i was going to want to be tattooed as much as i am (and continue to be) when i started out. I think its always a really good idea to listen to your artists opinion on placement cos generally they know where a tattoo's going to work best.... i'm a bit of a fan of the 'jumbled' look anyway.. i know that doesn't solve your problem but i guess what i'm trying to say is placements something only you and your tattooer can decide. There's no right or wrong.. in my person opinion :)

    tattoo day tomorrow, more work on my left arm. No idea what! There has been talk of a blonde haired lady, mandalas but i have no doubt whatever he comes up with will be fabulous. Only one more session with my tattooer after tomorrow before he's off to travel America for a few months. My body is breathing a sigh of relief!

    @Delicious actually @gougetheeyes made a good point... i have to wear black tights and dress to work so what i did when healing leg tattoos was lotion before i put my tights on and then when i got home at the end of the day stood in the shower and soaked the tights until they came away from the new tattoo easily. People will think you are mental but all my leg tattoos healed well with no colour loss.
