A little MCA tribute tattoo from Ethan Franklin at James River Tattoo. Forgive the crappy picture; it isn't in easiest location to take a picture of myself.
-
Here is our mutt at 1.5 years. The first photo is her at 7 weeks.

Thanks. I'd been eyeballing pretty every time I go to James River Tattoo. I figured who better to do it than Josh considering he has quite a few tattoos from Higgs.
-
Dan Higgs black heart done by Josh Brown (Josh changed the color scheme some). Forgive the wonky photos; I realized this wasn't the easiest spot to photograph.

Picked up this cool little fella from Tomas Garcia while he was working a guest spot at Acme Tattoo in Staunton, VA. Tomas is a really cool, humble guy. Do yourself a favor and get tattooed by him if you ever get the opportunity.

Here is a photo of the latest updates on my front. The owl/roses/skull have been healed are almost three years old. The goat on my stomach was lined about a year ago with the shading being freshly done (other parts in various stages of healing). The rose/flames/bones on my right side are fresh also in this photo. I'll work on the other side later in the year but, in the meantime, I will be picking up a little banger from Tomas Garcia in July.

Booked with Tomas for July during his guest spot at ACME Tattoo. I'm pretty stoked.

I've eased off quite a bit and wasn't planning on picking up anything until the end of the summer after I return from vacation with the family. However, just saw where Tomas Garcia will be working a few days at Acme Tattoo this summer. I plan on setting up something with him (hopefully it doesn't happen while I am on vacation).

Picked up this Thin Lizzy "Cowboy Song" themed a couple of week ago from Ethan Franklin at James River Tattoo.

Nails are absolutely brutal. Love them.

Got to check out two stellar show recently. Got to see Torche and Municipal Waste a couple of weeks ago. I had the pleasure of checking out the awesome lineup of Ringworm/Iron Reagan/Exhumed/Voivod/Naplam Death last Friday night. All of the bands were fantastic but Voivod and Napalm Death both absolutely slayed.

A couple of recent ones of our dog and cat.

Newest from Josh Brown.

Picked these up yesterday at the RVA convention. "Cat Daddy" print from Gordie and eagle from George Archer. -

I attended last year and had a great time. I was tattooed by George Archer while there last year. I'll be in attendance again this year (probably on Saturday) but I don't have any appointments set up as of yet. -
He is. He is learning from a good one. Mercer wasn't there; I was gone by 1:30 that day.
-
Nah (even though I was thinking about it at times during the show). As a side note, I didn't realize how tiny of a guy he is.

Picked this up from Ethan Franklin at James River Tattoo in Lynchburg, VA while I was up there yesterday (picture stolen from the James River IG page).

Earth was fantastic (as I expected). Got to speak briefly to Dylan Carlson after the show as they were loading up when I passed by from getting food on the way back to the car. Very polite, cool dude.
-
Going to see Earth this weekend down in Raleigh.

He was the exact same way at the Richmond Convention last year.

Deviod of Redemption off of their first album is one of my favorite songs over the last few years. The new album is very good. The one negative about Pallbearer is that they are very hit and miss live. I had a chance a early last year to see them live while they were headlining a tour with Fuck the Facts and Cough and they sounded really good. However, I saw them last month open for Deafheaven and they sounded absolutely atrocious. Today is the Day released a promo for their upcoming new album yesterday. Really looking forward to it after not being impressed with the last two albums.

I found some in Danville around Memorial Day 2012. Full selection just like this. I ended purchasing a big bottle of the "Red" (notice the flavor is only listed as "Red"). After a long night of drinking while the wife was out of town, I opened her up and figured "what could it hurt?". I can tell you, it hurt.
