I had a couple of jammers done by Franklin Reeves at The Pearl Harbor Gift Shop on Thursday. Awesome guy. It had been a few months since my last tattoo, and it felt good *you know what I mean* to get back to it. I'm running out of room on my lower right leg. Hopefully getting a larger piece done on my thigh in the near future. Franklin did the cat and the chalice. Other visible work my Tim Pausinger (The Pearl), Franz Stefanik (Okey Doke), Mario Desa (Great Lakes) Chad Koeplinger (Rock of Ages), and Glennie (The Pearl).

3 weeks. No idea who. No idea where. No idea what. 3 weeks.

I have to add my voice to the chorus - I also think this is a pretty great tattoo that works very nicely.

I suppose it's different for everyone. I had a two year period where I blasted through a lot of tattooing. I did wonder if I was going too fast. In the last year I've slowed as other events have taken over from tattooing, but I have to say I am stoked by my tattoos. I love them and never have any serious second thoughts (there are a couple that could use some tweaking) about regrets. After a quiet year, I am looking forward to getting back on the table (or chair or whatever) in the next few months. I've got a back piece that really needs some attention. Warp speed 7, Mr. Worf.

I see that Franz at the Okey Doke in Toronto is no longer doing walk-ins, making it more difficult to get back to the legs, but I may have to look further abroad.

Thanks, @polliwog. It's been a brutal few months. I'm finally starting to dig myself out and see that there is still a world going on out there.

Dealing with my dying father these last few months. I took a major break from all things online in order to focus on getting through this. Its been a very rough patch, and I've been going from acute care facilities to job interviews and trying to keep above water. I apologize for leaving so abruptly.

I'm on and off with Witcher 3. Its ok, but a little slow paced. I've recently rediscovered Need For Speed Rivals, and been playing it a lot.

Itchy? Oh yes. When I outlined my back I tried to staple a swatch of carpeting to the corner of a wall so that I could rub up against it (like my cat would). However, ElDolmago vetoed my idea.

I've been playing a ton of Dying Light and Mortal Kombat X. Odd, because I've never been one for MK or Street Fighter, but for some reason MKX works for me. Still wondering what to seek out next.

I had a couple of little fillers done by Nikki Balls from Tattoo Paradise in D.C. while she was in Toronto at The Pearl. I got a pig and a heart. Filling in them sticks. I met Nikki a couple of years ago when she tattooed an octopus on the inside of my bicep. Good people.
