You are right! I have snubbed the lovely and remarkable Daisy - a lovelier dog is hard to imagine. After seeing so much of her on Instagram, it was nice to get to meet her.

Heh, I started my back a month ago, and I have yet to go back. I suspect I won't do much until the fall. It really is a shitty time.

@eldolmago and I second this. We had a great time having drinks and talking tattoos with @Graeme and @Pugilist. We look forward to doing it again (possible August) and for certain in early September. You couldn't ask for a more chill, interesting, and friendly meet-up.

I had my first really open antagonistic stare this week while in Quebec City. I sat down for breakfast and was reading the paper when two unpleasant people made a show of staring at my arms, sneering and then giggling derisively at me. It was weird and I feel sorry for them that they have so little going on in their lives that they tried to make me feel badly about my tattoos. Its fortunate that I do not give a damn what they think of my tattoos, or me, for that matter. I thought about it for a minute, grabbed a second coffee, and relaxed and enjoyed the paper before having a lovely day exploring the walled city with my wife on our anniversary. I've had others stare and clearly not like what they see, but never quite like this. What sad people. I was embarrassed for them. Solution? Get more tattoos. By the way, this was not representative of the people I met in QC. Apart from them, everyone else was friendly and accomodating and I'd go back in a heartbeat.

My wife and I have just booked three nights in old Quebec City. We leave tomorrow, and will spend a few days poking around the city before hitting Montreal for a day or two. Excited!

Booked in with Franz to get my left knee done in late July. One of these days I'll return to working on my back, but for now, the legs are too much fun, so I'll continue to work on them for now.

Awesome. Go big or go home, right? That's an impressive way to start your collection!

I kept on with the legs today, getting a scorpion and a pineapple from Franz Stefanik at The Okey Doke in Toronto. Its a great shop in the west end that is moving shortly (July 1 I think) to a much larger studio closer to the core. Really looking forward to seeing what they do with the space.

Heh, not quite that frequently...but yeah, I'm making the most of my opportunities. I'm not at The Pearl today though. I'm sitting outside The Okey Doke tattoo shop waiting to get tattooed by Franz Stefanik. Just doing a couple of little ones to fill in my leg a little more. @hogg I've read a few books on Australian Biker gangs and noticed the use of the word "bikie." Not a term we'd use in North America! I'm no expert, and I expect one of our Australian friends here can confirm or deny my claim with authority.

Thanks for the input. I think I might go that route, although I decided to spend the day trying to finish this tome I'm writing. I'll probably get it done next weekend.

I might get my knee done tomorrow. I've had a couple of ideas, but I can't decide! I was thinking I might get a devil head, but I've got a hot stuff near my ankle and I'm thinking that might be too much devil. I've also seriously considered a buffalo head. Or a bear. Maybe a bear's head. I've spent the last few days pouring over books and images. Having a hard time with this one.

I prefer day time tattoos. I've had a couple in the evening and I always find it next to impossible to sleep if I get home late. Earlier is better, for me at least.

Your collection is amazing. I love the b&g look and I think the way they all work together really brings a great cohesion to your leg tattoos. I have a ton of color in most of my tattoos, but if I had to do it again, I'd give very serious consideration to having more b@g.

And where does the panther go?
