Thank you very much for the kind words! Means a lot! And yeah I still can't believe this is on me. I am humbled and beyond grateful. I think what helped this piece develop was that I never really had a consult with him. Usually he wants a consult to get to really know the customer. But by him having to come up with something "on the fly" it kinda forced him to think outside the box. And I don't want to toot my own horn, but i like to think this piece kinda helped Shige "loosen up" with his designs, heh.

The only thing that is official for me at the moment is James Tex at the Summit Convention! Super excited as the line up of that convention is insane. Also have Victor Portugal but we haven't set a date yet. He asked me to go to Poland the same weekend as the Bay Area Tattoo Convention so I couldn't do it. Nikko Hurtado is tattooing me, I think, at ink n iron but we haven't set dates 100%. Verbal commitment from: Adrian Lee, Grime, Domantas.

That is all Jeff's idea. He gets half the royalties haha

How blessed can I be to be able to get a group picture with three GIANTS of the tattoo world (@shige_yellowblaze @gogueart @carlostorresart) who just happen to be the three artists that collaborated on my torso!?!?!?!! I am truly humbled and honored to be able to wear the work, but more importantly to be able to call these class guys my friends. Much love!!! Sneak peek of my first day. Convention lighting sucks balls.

No worries bro. I am not saying that at all. I just can't justify paying anyone $400/hr for a tattoo. I can SOMEWHAT understand if you are super duper fast and charge a high rate because you finish twice as fast as the next artist, but even then I still think greed comes into play there. My Gogue example was: he is super fast and charges half what the artist in mention charges (bases on what my friend was quoted). Of course art is subjective and if you like it then go for it. Pay 1k an hour for all I care, but some of these artists are getting way too greedy. This is just all my humble opinion of course.

I'll be there getting tattooed all 3 days again. Friday with Shige and Sat and Sun with Carlos Torres. Come say hello.

that was an amazing experience! to see tattoos and actual live tattooing represented at a museum was incredible, along with watching so many body suits displayed at one time. my favorite part was getting the epic catalog signed by the artists, and shige doing a full page autograph! i might be wrong, but i believe my buddies and i were the only ones to get the full pager!! i wish i was able to get a vid but my phone died...

People here are way more traditional biased. It's a waste of time posting your tattoo here. Though as I mentioned in the other forum, I like it.

Same here, with jess also! My whole back suit and leg sleeve I gave him full artistic freedom and didnt know what I was getting until I got to the shop.
