    It's not for me to say if someone's ink is shitty or not, because it might be something really meaningful to them. But because I'm a picky person anyway, I'll definitely roll my eyes at someone's "amazing" tattoo

    I am actually really concerned about this too. D: but I have to so say you'd have to experiment with color palettes. if you're very dark, maybe yellow/pinks will be out of the question. but I'm not a tattoo artist

    I'm an artist, currently attending art school And while its not to say other people don't have glorious designs and creativity, it wouldn't sit right with me to have someone else's design on my body. So I start a few weeks/months before hand free sketching ideas, then refining the sketches, and getting lots of opinions from my friends. then final tweaks to suit me, and then if I love it, I'll have someone draw my design on me to get a feel for the look. And then go from there ;)

    A tattoo is a beautiful thing, regardless of who has it. It's your keepsake and its for you, not the world. And just like fashion, beauty, and countless other things; It really comes down to taste level and attitude. If you get something tacky then its not going to look good regardless the size you are.

    Blacklight tattoos are incredible, it just looks so ethereal and unnatural(in a good way). But for me personally, its more of a question of how often I would be under a blacklight to enjoy it. If you're not at a club/rave all the time when really will you see it?

    Hi I'm ash, and I just joined hoping to have some cool folks to talk tats with I have 8 tattoos currently and hopefully soon I'll have my 9th and largest one. I hail from california and aside from my love of tattoos, I love gaming and drawing. Nice to meet everyone :)
