I checked out the silhouette thread and see it is a very valid option.i also noticed that the negative space seems to me to work better with Traditional designs. Who knows i easily could be over thinking this.

I I was just looking at ideas of colorful work with filigree around it, this is what i have found that i think looks Great, Any opinions as if it would go with my tattoos

I dont have much room to get smaller filler tattoos.my tattoos have connection with me and thats why i put them where i did. this picture has filigree looking stuff behind the bright fruit tattoos. not saying it would look the best with mine but it could look good with bright tattoos (in my opinion)

Alright i understand now. that would look great with all the color, good contrast. - - - Updated - - - Would Filigree look good in a natural earth tone like a green with darks in it?

thanks! What would a Filigree or Framework background look like, have never heard of that before. and going with the small tattoos in the cracks is a good option too!

I have my tattoos in my initiation thread and in my gallery. im not 100% set on water as a filler. im here to get ideas about other possibilities as well. One hard part i have with the fill for my arm is my tattoos are colorful and i want something that would compliment them

I can See why it would be hurting to wait! I have yet to have a tattoo that takes more than one session. (mostly because the guy i go to likes 5 hours away right now)

! have no dragon, but yeah i wanted a more open stylized rose as you were saying. And as for a darker background i never thought of that before, food for thought. As forthe rose, it will be a maroon/ red with blue highlights. and some greens on the leaves and such

well the next two i am getting are: a neo traditional rose and filler for my upper arm for the filler i want something bright, maybe water? im still thinking of ideas about the filler.

Yes, new school for me is just a butt load of color, i just didn't know how else to explain my tattoos. im looking for some type of water to flow around my tattoos on my arm. I love color so something like that and very colorful would look great i think. Since there is not many google references like that i decided to come to this site and see what i could dig up on how i could make my fill look very well done, thought of and flow great with my other pieces.

Haha! Compared to some places yes, it is extremely small ,but i find it to Have everything i could ever want. Found a Great Artist Near Home (Libby) that has done my last 5 tattoos and who ill be going to for the rest of mine. So im set to move back near there after College.
