I can talk to the LST Team and see if we can set something up where people, LSTers, could submit their videos to us and we can post them or maybe you guys host them elsewhere and then embed them here? LST Team????? We, Steve actually, is currently doing lots of web video work with the site for the upcoming tattoo artist video interviews Scott Sylvia. (Shhhh, I watched the Juan Puente Interview rough last night and it is kick ass!). Is this something people are interested in or just a waste of space and time?

Has anyone ever seen the "Hipster Olympics" on YouTube? When Juan showed it to me we joked about putting a video camera at Blackheart as that shit is daily outside their shop. But I love this idea of providing an actual reality show at a shop. Actual being an accurate perspective so people can see how it really is. There is no need to "script" the tattoo show as that actually makes it less entertaining if you know what really occurs at shops

I love this set of various cities tattoo flash Nick as I don't think I've ever seen anything like this! It makes me think of how old postcards and how these would be awesome postcards (just a thought). Thanks for posting. What do you think about putting something up in the "Shit for Sale" spot so people can easily access this set and your other one to purchase? -

This is an awesome tattoo thread to read this morning while drinking my coffee, thanks. Everyone is respectfully answering the questions and building off one another but speaking their minds on tattoo related design if you will without throwing tantrums or egos. Thanks for the respect for one another and hashing thoughts out! Especially considering tattoo designs are on everything now a days from skin to coffee cups to billboards to etc.... So all it takes is one tattooer to do a "design" and once it "hits" the public it becomes public access. Access as in a positive voyeur and verbal interaction way. So when some tattooers customer is walking down the street with their new tattoo and a random business owner sees it and thinks "that's great, I think I'll take use idea and take it to my design team." Is this infringement? Do people need to copyright their tattoos (haha, could you imagine). Or would it just be more respectful for that business owner to ask the person who did the tattoo then go find the tattooer and speak with them directly rather than their design team? Bunny goes there with an awesome question, "Does a tattoo on someones body (essentially a canvas) then become flash if it is published in a magazine???" Bring on the answers and thanks again everyone as this thread could give random people (businesses, etc) a better idea of what is okay and what isn't when using tattoo designs in their businesses. Hells yeah! Thanks for putting the flyer up Jake. Some of the shit (tattoo designs, tattoo shirts, shop shirts, random drawings at the shop) Tim Lehi comes up with are hilarious. Anyone ever see the Blackheart Tattoo shirt he drew up of all the guys dressed like Bears? -

Awesome, look forward to it! The site is going great as we've been hearing great feedback from LSTers and seeing brilliant contributions. I/we continue to look forward to the progression of the site by all parties (tattooers new & old and tattoo first timers & long timers) so it can be enjoyable for all not too tilted to one side or the other. Thanks and spread the word to those you feel would enjoy hanging out and contributing to this new tattoo forum and magazine.

Nick, I love the simple navigation and the straight forwardness of your site. The content is so rich and intriguing that it gives a more genuine confidence in your work not some flashy nonsense that disappoints. How about that shark/unicorn? Did you do that on Nick Rodin for hustling you? For reals though on the tattoo photos I loved them with the traditional american style and boldness with your own twist/flavor. That rock of ages back piece is awesome, did you ever get to finish it? Color or black and grey? A chef for tattoos if you will. Yes, i am getting cheesy here but it is well deserved! Go check out this site and get tattooed if you are out that way, Chicago, LSTers!! Then the flash of the multiple cities was very enjoyable, are you continuing to do these variations for your friends? The history is always enjoyable especially an american touch as I have seen very little of this done well. As for suggestions I would go with Tammy on the font size other than that I was drawn in!!!! Alright once again thanks for your continual contribution not only here but to tattooing in general!!

Shane thanks for taking advantage of the free tattoo ad space at Last Sparrow Tattoo and hope not only some tattoo machines sell but we continue to see feedback on machines. This way quality tattoo machines can make their way to quality tattoo artist and their shops.

Damn Patrick! Yet another LST members kickings off their tattoo blog with a loaded tattoo topic. As everyone said above the list goes on and on and I like the record store analogy. The hardest part for me is making appointments as when I want to get tattooed I just want to get tattooed which is all the time but finances help filter this somewhat. Anywho to contribute who the next two I am dying to get tattooed by are Thomas Hooper (where ever but right kneecap could be fun) and Tim Hendricks (would love to have him do rose and other filler on my front). Thanks for bringing such a great tattoo blog topic!

I enjoy the originality and quality in all the above band tattoos. This topic/thread was silent for awhile and I was perplexed as for me music has been so important in my life like a sibling if you will and know that it has been similar for a lot of other people as well so thanks! Keep it coming........
