  2. -Live in the Caribbean and travel the various islands on a boat. -Live in Japan for one month -Own a private practice once I get my MFT for youth where they can get competent, non-authorative, client centered, guided, & driven therapy with full confidentiality for free/sliding scale that legally they are eligible for but few Therapist acutally abid by this/know this. -Leave behind at least one business my god kids, nephews, and nieces all have a share in and have an opportunity to take over when I die. -And many more things.....the time is ticking, memento mori carpe diem! I have an exercise I developed at least five years ago I used for a few years with youth similar to this but it is an open questionaire. If I can find it in my files I will post. Thanks Alana!
  3. I meant to share this link to Pats recent blog but forgot until now which is relevant and on Literary Tattoos I love the diversity on this site that we are starting to get, thanks.
  4. Huero- welcome to the site and contributing some great content to other threads and diving in with starting this thread. I tend just to listen to whatever is on and not weigh-in with my preferences though if I did it would be punk or hardcore more times than not. Often times at many of the shops I've been to the various tattooers rotate choices every album or thirty minutess or what-have-yous-system so it tends to be all over the place with genres and always entertaining, both pleasant and less pleasant but tolerable. For anyone that's done some time at Blackheart knows what I mean. Below I've placed some links to other LST threads with similar topics in case anyone wants to weigh in over there as well! Here's a Similar thread Here is one on Punk Rock & Tattoos This is on Band &/or Song Tattoos Thanks again for diving right into the site with positivity! Until next time....... Lochlan
  5. This is looking so badass!! Thanks for continuing to show us your tattoo pictures!!
  6. Watched the roast of Flavor Flav last night....it was great! Everytime I watch that show I laugh to myself for the next few days thinking of various things said.
  7. I have been drinking coffee and this thread has been running around in my mind since I posted the above and then remembered that I hadn't visited the Dringenberg Blog for awhile as I am always impressed with their work. A quick tale, I remember the first time I met Dan some years ago as we share many mutual friends and I was down South for one of our mutual friends house warming parties. We were introduced and he was a very nice guy and it was a pleasure to meet him as I had always heard great things about him form many who truly respect him and hold him in high regards. That same month I was back and forth between the Bay Area and helLA every three or four days for work so on one of the trips we ran out to his shop to use his welder for welding some aluminum on an alternator bracket that had broke on a friends 350. As we walked in to the crammed space it was impressive seeing all the guys working hard and passionately on tattoo machines and equipment. I have always been impressed by tattoo machine builders and could watch for hours all the fine tuning and patience that goes into each machine. With that being said, I also saw on this on Tim Hendrick's blog Tim Hendrick's Saltwater Tattoo Blog So go buy this interview in Tattoo Artist Magazine!
  8. For those who haven't yet seen these travel post here at Last Sparrow Tattoo on traveling and tattoos! Now bring on more of your tattoo and travel stories............
  9. I love hearing the various histories, thanks. I had no clue the Superbowl of Hardcore started in DC. Karl, Juan, Scott, why you guys staying silent? Karl, I know you got stories for days from both coast........... Juan and Scott , from all over....... Shit almost every show I still go to Juan is there and from what I understand always has been at the various shows supporting bands.

  11. Thanks for the update and we wish the best to all his friends and family. Here is a post that was posted announcing the news. If anyone feels like posting on the topic here or there
  12. Good morning everyone. First and foremost I would like to say thank you for posting here at Last Sparrow Tattoo as well as those who thoughtfully and respectfully responded to this great conversation. I did also want to thank those who opted not to weigh in on this conversation and regulated their reactions to keep the site positive. This is why Scott and I started this to make a passionate, positive, constructive, and progressive tattoo ezine and tattoo forum on the the internet for tattooers and tattoo collectors. We have seen some pretty heartless negative stuff on the internet related to tattooing and it sucks. So with that, this is in fact a public forum so I know a few of the tattooers have been Pm'ing with one another about stuff but for the most part when it comes to machines decide to stay silent. Some in fact post their machines for sale on the site and it is up to them to fulfill orders/request based on their discreations and the purchasers. Here is a great post that an LSTer wrote on some tattoo machines Here is a great post that an LSTer wrote on some tattoo machines In case no one has seen this here is one of Scott Sylvia's blog post about what he wants from the site Then this is one of the first blogs on the site when we launched it about three months ago I wrote on how Scott and I came to developing this, Last Sparrow Tattoo Thanks again to everyone who has joined this new venture Scott and I are trying out to as Scott would say, "take tattooing back from the douchbags". Until next time.....keep the thoughtful and productive post coming and have a good day!! Lochlan

Until next time...... Lochlan
  14. Tammy, I don't recall that must have been in a crab blackout but must have learned it from the Vong-Wright's for sure if i did do it! See you Sunday!! Jake, how about that brick of Lard you bought recently that is almost gone?????
  15. I had the above meal Jake posted and cooked. The Jalapeno Cheddar Biscuits I am looking forward to eating when I get back from working out today with eggs over the top. But two nights ago, Wednesday, I worked for Tammy and Steve all day digging ditches and they had a huge yes HUGE crab feed that was a hurricane of gnarliness!!! ITS CRAB SEASON!!!!!!! They made a super simple one with just butter and lemon then garlic bread and it hit the spot. I love when the simple things (burgers, steaks, grilled cheese, macNcheese, bbq, scallops, crab, lobster, etc) are kept simple but executed so good the organic flavors come through. For the vegetarians......if you are in Manhattan or near goto Red Bamboo which being a meat lover and it a vegetarian restaurant is still in my top twenty favorite eats! Damn New York region I miss you....hopefully sooner than later.
  16. Hambone, I would totally agree! You ever hear any of the stuff Freddy Madball did with Vietnom? You ever gotten to see them live? My favorite MadBall show may have been the one at Bottom of the Hill in San Francisco a few years back. Mayhem at its finest. Word on the streets is Freddy is producing the new Agnostic Front album that they are recording right now..... Anyone out east headed there tomorrow???
  17. Congratulations on selling them and thanks for keeping LSTers updated on your stock.
