  1. Thanks for joining and posting as this site is built on and driven by everyone participating positively and respectfully......enjoy!
  2. Welcome Dylan. Enjoy your time on the site and when you get more please continue to share them. There are some really good tattooers in new york plus they get lots of tattooers guest spotting.
  3. Good morning LSTers! We very excitedly would like to formally announce....After feedback from you all and the first ten months of launching Last Sparrow Tattoo Forum Steve has designed, built, and implemented a new custom tattoo gallery system for us! No other tattoo web site has the system we have which is awesome as we think we found the best of various galleries plus added some features we thought would be cool and put it all together for you..... Here are the some of the new features: With these new features and system we are asking everyone to move their current images uploaded to the new various categories. You can do so by: If everyone could do this it would be much appreciated so that we, Team LST, don't mis-categorize your tattoo pictures. When doing so check out the other various options/details you can add to each image. I really like this from a tattoo customer perspective and/or when you post pictures of others tattoos you've gotten so you can give the tattooers and/or shop credit as well. We hope you enjoy this new feature and let us know if you have any questions. Thanks again to Steve. Also thanks in advance LSTers for taking the time to move your images and we hope you continue to enjoy your stay with us...... Tattoo Gallery
  4. I don't know much about the hotel but do know it is a good central location with the BART only about one block away in case you decide to venture out to Oakland or other East Bay areas. For the most part that neighborhood you're in is seeing gentrification at its finest so if you've got a semi street wise mind n eyes you'll be good. Look forward to meeting you......
  5. Thanks for joining the forum Danny. Let us know when you get some of your tattoo pictures uploaded to your gallery....
  6. Hurricane of gnarly! Steve has been showing me the development and progress of this new tattoo photo gallery feature that we, LST Team, wanted for several months and I was so excited. Then just now I got my first opportunity to do a trial run of uploading a picture and all I can say is it is so much better! From a tattoo customer perspective you can place the tattooer and tattoo shop or what-have-yous in the description field as well. I can't wait til everyone categorizes theirs tattoo pictures so we can try the slideshow feature!!!!!! Thanks again Steve! And thanks LSTers for taking the time to (re)categorize your tattoo pictures and also fill out the various fields if you please.
  7. This is for sure something we would love to see more tattooers, customers, and tattoo shops take advantage of in the forums area as Alanna pointed out (I added the backlinks). It is one of the many features that was an initial force for starting LST. So many good tattooers travel around guest spotting!!! IT IS FREE so have at it please!!

  15. Thanks everyone for the heads up! It's happening to me and is a side effect to a new feature we are currently installing that will get troubleshot once we get the new feature installed. Hopefully it will disappear sooner than later....let us know if you discover any other bugs while we are doing this. Thanks for being patient with us!!

  18. I thought I would point out some new buttons at the top of each one of the tattoo forum threads and blogs...we had a bunch previously but the options were soooo many so Steve and I were talking the other night and decided to trim them down to the social networking sites that we see the most visitors from and shares on. So if you are on StumbleUpon, Twitter, Google, and/or Facebook you can share your favorite LST items with your friends by simply clicking which ever one you wish to share! Yep that simple!! If you use any other social networking sites please continue to feel free to share away how that site ask. Hope you enjoy one of the newish features.......
  19. I know lots of good tattoo advice has been given in this thread but here are some other LST forum threads on tattoos and pain as well that may be useful: Most painful spot to get tattooed Anestetic creams Pre and post tattoo rituals Great topic and keep the advice and experiences coming.......
  20. I've been looking at a lot of tattoo cover-up pictures recently and figured it'd be cool to see what cover-ups LSTers have both gotten as well as tattooed. So if you have before and after pictures please post them up. Here's a recent one I found on Sarah Schor's Blog from King's Avenue in New York. I really like the use of the hair in this lady head to cover-up the old tattoo lettering. For me I enjoy seeing cover-ups that could stand on their own without being a cover-up. What I mean is yes the old tattoo is not visible but had you not had to have it placed where it is you would get in anywhere and anyways. Lets see 'em.......
  21. just checked out your blog n I guess I just found a new one to check often, "sick as fuck" (haha)! Also saw your posting on LST, thanks very much for the kind words and link!

  25. A thought which I often think about then over the past twenty-fours hours have been really thinking about due to Tattoo Dex and her viral video of the 152 facebook friend tattoo sleeve is tattooers with little to no tattoos. I think this is a heavy weight for me on whether or not I would get tattooed by someone. I'm not saying they need to have hands, fingers, neck, face, head, etc but at least some good visible tattoos for me to know they get it. Or I don't know if "get it" is the right word but they have taken the time to get good tattoos and can do good tattoos. They have done and are doing their time It is like many of the tattooers on here have said over and over again to those interested in getting into tattooing "get tattooed by good tattooers". Plus the million other suggestions and deterrents they have said but anywho.......Would you get or have you been tattooed by a tattooer with little to no tattoos? Thoughts? Experiences? Also here's the video if you missed it in our other thread:
