Thanks for the reference picture. Rock of Ages are one of those classic tattoos I like a lot. So you have a great picture and now some ideas of how you want to modify/personalize it so the next step is.....where are you located and/or where are you willing to travel to to get tattooed?

Good afternoon Revid and welcome to our tattoo forum and ezine. You more than likely will not find anyone on here to draw you a design and/or suggest an online tattoo design forum. However, what you can gain from this tattoo website is some direction to good shops and tattooers to go see. By going to a good tattoo shop and good tattooer a personal tattoo based off of your idea(s) can be executed beyond your desires! Look around our tattoo pictures as well maybe and see if here are tattooers close to you and/or ones you are willing to travel to get tattooed by. So what I am getting at is where are you located and/or willing to travel to to get tattooed? Also posting pictures of your Rock of Ages tattoo would/could be helpful. Hope you enjoy your stay with us and we look forward to more post and tattoo pictures from you. Until then......have a good day!

In the thread "What's your favorite tattoo on your body?" I have some tattoo pictures of cherubs I got by Nick Rodin at Blackheart Tattoo and Zach Johnson (can't remember which shop Zach was at when he did these tattoos) several years ago. -

Ideas for a hotrod sleeve.

This could go one or two ways, super awesome or terribly wrong. I was at a convention once and watched two tattooers tattoo one guys back for hours and it came out pretty well but those two did it often from what I heard. Alright back to yours, I guess it really comes down to the individual tattooers quality of tattooing as I am thinking of it like just piecing a sleeve together over time but for you it'll be laid out like a "normal" sleeve. I am a fan of hotrods and customs but have not seen anything new in this area of tattooing progressing (remember I'm a collector not tattooer so if there are pls let me know as I would love to see some) tattooing. The classic traditional style, rockabilly is cool. One of the better hotrod themed sleeves I saw was a guy that was in a car club with me some years ago and had black and grey portraits of his favorite hotrods and customs in a manner that they were racing all over his arm, pretty cool. Just my thoughts and please share tattoo pictures with us when this goes down. Thanks again! -
