    Values

I am a sucker for words, sayings, etc as they have way more meaning than the surface value of them that we often just let spill out. Probably why my focus in grad school is Linguistics under the practice of Psychology. Jake as you said Fidelity for me is a very big one hence why it is on my knuckles. People come and go and unfortunately are in it for their own gain to fulfill short term fixes rather than the long haul of having those they loves back through thick and thin. At the same time I do understand people come and go into one anothers lives for a reason but it is important to stay true. So I try to live daily loyal to my friends, crews, self, and work so passion shines bright in the small and larger pictures. After all, all we have is our word and a handshake. Here are some cool blogs and threads on the site revolving around words that I often read: Gougetheeyes did this cool blog on Literary Tattoos. Mrs. RAD did this blog on Song Lyric Tattoos. This thread in the Tattoo Designs forum area on Tattoo Fonts/ Tattoo Lettering. This thread in the War Stories forum area titled Band or Song Tattoos. I look forward to hearing other words LSTers live by, thanks Jake.

  12. Yeah thanks I saw it awhile ago and actually rewatched it last night. Oceanside is just north some miles from where I grew up so it's interesting to see how much that town and the other beach towns in San Diego are now almost completely different. It was put together really well. Hambone, thanks for the tattoo picture and story.

I like the simplicity of this tattoo in the sense of black and grey with just one color. Thanks for joining the site and posting your tattoo pictures.
  14. Those all sound mmm good! Tammy loves Jack fruit!!!
  15. yep yep, slow n low but that is for meat so don't know if you would want to do that with vegan stuff as the veggies would become mushy....hmmmmm, don't know if I can help. Tammy? Alanna? Anytime I've made vegan or vegatarian soups I've gone more on the food processor/puree side.....
  16. Plenty of leftovers.........Scott was supposed to swing by and grab some this morning. I run a drive-thru for food and homies in all directions run other kinds of drive-thrus over here.
  17. Hogg, you just get that? I guess the parent will now know???? It looks great!
  18. Tonight I was looking around the various pages/links we have under the LST Preferred Tattoo Professionals and enjoyed them all as I always try to visit these various pages to see what's going down around the world regularly. But the one I must share tonight is Luke Wessman's who is always doing awesome tattoos but also maybe because I am getting ready to head south for sometime and am dreaming of better days with money to get tattooed but stuck looking at pictures because if I had the paper I would be getting tattooed by him while down there! Below are two recent pictures he posted plus I found this little bit he wrote on Scott so it became even more relevant for the site. Any LSTers have any of his tattoos and pictures? Hope you enjoy not only the below but his site and tattoos as much as I often do....
  19. Marinated 13.34lbs of pork shoulder then slow cooked for eight hours in a water, jalapeno, garlic, leek broth. Soaked dried kidney and pinto beans in water for almost eight hours then rinsed and placed in boiling water until al dente. While the beans were cooking pulled the meat from the broth and cut the meat into chewable cubes as well as straining the broth to put just the broth on the side and in freezer for a future soup. Used some of the broth as a base for the chili by re-adding the meat, garbanzo beans, corn, minced garlic, jalapeno, new mexican hatched green chiles, tomato paste, salt, a chili seasoning packet and added the kidney and pinto beans after they were al dente and strained. Slow cooked for about three hours more and BLAMMO.....mmmmmm. Added cheese, tapatio, and sour cream with some sourdough to dip in it. Get some!
  20. Just went and found the movie, The Mark of Cain, and added it to my instant que.......thanks!
  21. Noticed that too about the "skinhead" knuckle tattoo. The media has falsely led society to believe the word "Skinhead" signifies all skinheads are racist. Would love to see some article published explaining the history and TRUTH on skinheads and the variations. A blog anyone?????
  22. How about this Russian Tattoo Designs of a panther....
  23. The toro tartare was as amazing as it looked on tv! Then homie makes this amazing guacamole to go with it, wha-wha-what!!! We or rather I also got my sushi favorite, tobiko udama. As mentioned the service was amazing and Babs you forgot to mention it was during your SF Giants Playoffs and you were checking the score every few minutes and cheering aloud to yourself and the staff kept coming to you for the score. Bottomline.....get up there as it is an easy quick drive from the SF Bay Area. Also try Adhoc up that way!!! Nick and Chad didn't you all goto French Laundry when you were out this way for the convention?????? Oh and I must'n forget the lil seventies style skatepark in Napa that reminds me of Santa Cruz's Derby Skate, some classic skate spots are so ridiculously awesome!
