    Cool Site

Thanks for jumping right in Joe with some good post. Was just in Temple the other day for some hours and was having flashbacks to when they were all their and some of my first visits. I wonder if it was Stella that was roaming the shop? That shop has such a great "feel" from the hospitality to the spacing and how everyone is so close laughing, talking shit, and just having a great fuc'n time!
  3. Thanks Lizzie! I added a backlink to your post for Ron Wells AKA The Hyena for LSTers. Look forward to the stories and tattoo pictures!!!!!
  4. Damn that is an old school east coast proper name from just reading it, it that makes my mind think of secret societies. Welcome to the tattoo forum and ezine. Here are some cool blogs and threads that other LSTers have enjoyed initially: Chad Koeplinger's blog, "What tattoo shops?" Mario Desa's blog, "Who has tattooed you?" Patrick's blog, "Who do you want to get tattooed by?" Scott Sylvia's blog, "What I want" LST Preferred Tattooers and Tattoo Shops Plus all the other aweosmeness all LSTers post!
  5. Thanks Patrick. Every August when we, RCC, used to all get together for the annual Rumblers CC New York car show under the BQE on the Sunday after we would go to Coney Island. Some of my favorite pictures I've taken were of us hanging out there (I may have some in my profile photo gallery?). I have many stories from there including all of us being kicked out one year after many hours of having fun or we were having fun but I guess they didn't enjoy our company just our money. The final snapping point for them was when we put our friend who's going blind and our other friend who's paralyzed in a bumper car with the blind man driving and that was that. Our homie who's going blind was yelling at them, "if I could see you I'd knock you out!", while a group of forty or so of us being escorted out......haha laughing out loud as I think about it. Then there was the numerous times riding the Cyclone back to back to back to back until everyone tapped out leaving bruised and bloodied. Anywho, thanks as this brings back many good memories!! Until next time..... Lochlan

    Hello

Welcome Nate, hope you enjoy your stay with us.......... Look forward to seeing pictures of the tattoos you are doing and what-have-yous.
  9. Thanks for joining us John. Sounds like you got a nice start and look forward to seeing your current tattoos plus some new ones. Thanks for the compliment but we couldn't do any of it without all the LSTers, their positivity and love for tattoos! Ross Nagle is active on here and a fellow gentleman in Ireland which I am sure you know as he helps us RT, Mentioning, and #FF on twitter for the @lastsparrow .
  10. For all those at home watching TV tonight if you like them reality shows especially the ones about wives of famous people check out this new show premiering tonight on VH1 called The X Life. I've heard about some of the debauchery that goes down as some friends are on it. I don't have cable so won't be watching but let us know what you think. Below is a snapshot about it: The X Life on VH1
  11. I will be unable to make it as I'm preparing for the next semester by reading too many books and articles, hope you feel better!
  12. I think just taking your tattoo design idea and maybe some reference would be sufficient. You also want to allow the tattooer enough room for creative autonomy to add their style to it.
  13. Brian, pls tell him hello from me as well and enjoy your night out. He is all over the twitter, haha.

    Hello

Good afternoon or rather evening out that way! Hope you find the tattoo site enjoyable and useful!?!
  15. Thanks for joining our tattoo forum. I enjoyed your first post on "Painful wrist due to tattooing" as it was very informative. Hope you enjoy your stay?!?!

Until next time....have a good day.

  16. Welcome Brian to the tattoo forum. Any friend of Hiro's is a friend of ours!!!
  17. Good afternoon and welcome to the site Joel. You didn't piss me off, your questions were good I thought! I ditto what Dari said. Enjoy your stay with us and look forward to more from you. Until then...... Lochlan
  18. Welcome to the forum and thanks. Based on your above here's some blogs you may like: Chad Koeplinger's tattoo blog, What Tattoo shops? Mario Desa's tattoo blog, Who has tattooed you? Patrick's tattoo blog, Who do you want to tattoo you? As for the Ami James comment, there are many other tattooers at this shop don't you think? Then the McDonalds one, I know some who would put it on a five star list, haha. Thanks for joining the tattoo forum and participating!
  19. I got a listen on some early demos and recordings and they continue to grow as a band trying new stuff (for them) with old stuff. I enjoy the fact that Mike Ness over the years has started to let Johnny Two Bags contribute more and more to the music. Two Bags is a great musician that is very very under-rated in my opinion!! What are your thoughts?
  20. Welcome back. Yeah we tried to buy last swallow but it was taken.....
  21. I was just responding to another entry elsewhere and got some links to other related post on our tattoo forum I wanted to share here: Choosing a tattoo shop Choosing a tattooer Travel and shop choosing How far are you willing to travel for a shop? Chap Koeplinger's Blog on What Shops?

  23. Thanks for diving in and welcome to the forum Max. I was hoping Wedge would jump in as I knew he lived out that way so thanks Wedge. One of the nice things about where you are located is that in the nearby states there are many above par tattooers that others from around the world travel to get tattooed by and you wouldn't have to go as far! Are you willing to travel for a tattooer or travel for a tattoo shop? With that being said, I am not a tattooer but a collector so take my advice as that please and I hope some of the East Coast tattooers will jump in as they are the master minds who can truly help you with good East Coast Japanese style tattooers. Did you look around LST Preferred Tattoo Shops and Tattooers list? There are some on there near you and if you follow their links to other pages you will find yourself in a maze of awesomeness for tattoos. I know I often find myself in this area and their links looking at the tattoos they are turning out. As you said you are new to LST so I thought I would point out some threads on tattoo shops and tattooers for you to take a look around and maybe get some ideas from if you have not seen them yet: Choosing a tattoo shop Choosing a tattooer Yelp and Tattoo Shops Travel and shop choosing How far are you willing to travel for a shop? Chap Koeplinger's Blog on What Shops? This blog has a wealth of knowledge for potential shops and tattooers. I know I put a lot out there with no specifics but want you to be able to see the riches you have nearby if you do your tattoo research. The last one I want to put out there is the upcoming Philly Tattoo Convention where you will have the opportunity to have some of the best of the best close by to get tattooed from. Hope this helps????
  24. Tonight's soup I made was spicy as all hell and next time will do less chili's but still good! Here were the ingredients: -Pureed corn, jalapeno's, serrano pepper, shallots, garlic -Sweated white onions in butter then reduced them in balsamic vinaigrette -Poached purple cauliflower -cooked cheese tortellini's in butter -Then mixed it all together! We all have colds right now so trying to sweat out this shit!
