Also I guess I only thought this and didn't type it anywhere but if Marin is the chosen place @Barbie Doll and I can give upto three people a ride if you get to Sausalito....the ferry is right across the street and is a beautiful ride! I prefer it over the bus when going into the city

First and foremost we want everyone to be able to have a good time on the site. Sometimes it can be tough as we have people from all over the world with different perspectives all on one forum so much of the concerns are expected. We can run with a heavy ban hammer using scare tactics censoring everyone through fear and some push of buttons or we can try to guide people to how we want a polite, helpful and useful forum LST to be. Sometimes this is writing something kindly while other times it is not writing anything at all. Each person has to decide what sits best for them and how they want to positively contribute to the site rather than troll for fights or instigate them. We do give people enough room to try and learn the ways of LST and if they don't then yes they get the ban hammer or another feature we have recently discovered that a few people have though you don't hear or see them. You and many others have been with us for awhile and we want you all to continue on including new members. Remember we all started as newbies. For your knee jerk reactionary poke at the forum and name change, we all make a decision to sign in or not. For the people who you cited as no longer "active" on the forum there are many other reasons why they don't sign in or sign in but don't write and we know many of their reasons and only one has expressed a similar thing you mentioned. Once again we want all to be a part of this and many have come before using the site how we'd like it to be used while others have fallen by the waist side. We are always open to feedback though are not going to just run a censoring fearful forum. We look at things from a birds eye perspective rather than one or a few incidents. We know who instigates and who tries to help.....patience is hard but very useful. Thanks to all who continue to try and make this a better forum than what has been on the Internet thus far! People can always PM me or other users rather than the forums if you think it is a bit off subject

They have food happy hour which for someone who doesn't drink and attend regular happy hours it makes me very very happy

The shop Aloha Monkey comes to mind with the tattooer Josh Arment.........he also gets some good guest spotting tattooers from all over Also to post pic of what you want covered up try clicking 'Go Advanced' click the paperclip logo and upload the image from your desktop Though the best way to get a good cover-up tattoo is find a great shop and tattooer show them in person and trust their years of experience as they offer feedback on what to do

There has been lots of talk in other threads that people are coming out for the State of Grace convention so we thought it would be fun to try and get something put together while LSTers from all over are in town for this awesome event...... ...if you want to try and meet up please post what dates and are you staying by the convention or in the city?

It's been awhile since we've done a get together for the Bay Area and I also know we have some people coming out this way on vacations plus it'll be LST's two year birthday on September 21 so time to start planning....... Who is down to get together? Who is coming out in September for vacation and what dates? We'll try and get something organized for everyone though as we all know it can be difficult with schedules overlapping. If the party doesn't lineup when we have LSTers out this way I would still like to try and meet up and grab coffee or something while you're out here...... Let the fun begin to take shape!

@Patriot Ink Tattoo we don't do booths as we rely on the word of mouth promotion. So you're always more than welcome and encouraged to put an LST banner on your site, FB, etc and/or use the social media share icons on LST which then shares on your social networks...... We do have a few LST postcard-esq flyers left over from last years SOG. Some LSTers PM me asking for a stack to hand out at their local shops and conventions so if you're interested send me your address for a stack. We'll be getting more made shortly as well.

Well we have a photo finish again this month....... LST Monthly Contest The tattoo picture that gets posted in this thread for August 2012 with the most 'likes' for the month wins! The contest starts on the first of the month and ends on the last day of the month. Contest Guidlines -Your tattoo picture must be posted in this thread (both tattooers and tattoo customers can win) in order to qualify. -Include with your photo/post...tattoo artist name & tattoo shop. -You MUST be the one who has the tattoo or did the tattoo. -You can 'like' as many tattoos as you want. -It can be a finished or in progress tattoo. To increase your 'likes' or to show off another's great tattoo share the link to the post in this thread on facebook, twitter, etc. - to get votes from your friends..

haha, no wonder I was getting weird stares. Now I know to wear my tap shoes into the school and not my running shoes. I can tap my way down the hall to their classrooms then tap may way back out as the boys breakdance beside me.
