  1. Danny Trejo has some badass tattoos that I would enjoy seeing up close as you can only see the same chest piece in all his films. I swear he's given roles solely for that tattoo. I tried google his back piece but of course everything is his chest piece. There was this one of him checking out Jessica Alba but it's hard to see.....
  2. Welcome to our tattoo forum and glad you jumped right in.....as I can see others are giving great tattoo shops to get tattooed at! Bigjoe got two of my ideas (Stefan Johnsson (LST Profile) and the Fresno Tattoo Convention LST Discussion ). That Fresno show is looking really impressive!
  3. You guys should make some glasses with his eyes that you drive around the ambulance in. Would it bring people out of shock or put them in shock?
  4. Jake smoked up twelve pounds of pork shoulder last week so I took some of it and slow cooked in a lemon, lime, parsley broth yesterday for an additional four hours to make tacos with homemade salsa fresca. We'll then use the broth for a mexican soup soon.
  5. I was going to post another video but since this one was previously shared and is so amazing I just had to....
  6. Same one but if you already have one we can do a different size for a friend or family if you'd like.
  7. Hey LSTers, Last week the LST team met and put some cool new things in motion and wrapped up some talks on new features that we will slowly be rolling out over the next few months. So with that being said.......The time has come for our second contest! We thought it would be fun to spread the word about LST so how about a referral contest? The contest will run from now April 18, 2011 until May 31,2011 and the top three members who refer the most new members (new members must post an intro and min. 5 posts) will win a Last Sparrow Tattoo T-Shirt by Scott Sylvia. How it works: You gain referrals by promoting Last Sparrow Tattoo Forum using your unique referral link on other sites, blogs, Facebook, Twitter, etc.. The link you should use as your referral link is in your usercp and can be found by: 1) Locating the "Settings" button at the top right side when you're logged in and clicking 2) Then in the center of your page you will see a box titled "Last Sparrow Tattoo Referrals" 3) Within this box in red you will see your unique user referral code and it will look something like this: 4) Copy and paste this on the other sites you frequent. 5) Then when people click your link and sign-up you will get credit for the referral which will also show up on your profile under the "About Me" 6) Once your referral has signed up they must do an introduction in the "Initiation" section plus five positive/thoughtful post Please be courteous when promoting Last Sparrow Tattoo Forum and E-zine by not spamming other web sites with your referral link just to gain referrals. Thanks again and let the games begin!!!!
  8. I got two pictures sent to me recently that looked like they were straight from 850 Bryant (SF's County Jail) processing area but the person who sent them to me had no idea on any of the history. I couldn't decided where on the tattoo forum I was going to put them as the "Photography of People with Tattoos" was good but didn't seem right. Then the next closes thread was the "Russian Criminal Tattoos" thread but that wasn't a fit as they were clearly American and one was for sure Bay Area specific. I was thinking how cool it would be to see a tattoo picture book of American Prison and County Tattoos. So I've done a l little research and believe I located where they came from, Robert Gumpert, though could be wrong as the two I got weren't on his site but match his style. So while in the process I gathered some more prisoner tattoo pictures and thought it would be cool to have a thread of tattoo pictures of American prisoners in county and/or jail. It would great to get ahold of all the pictures they take of people and their tattoos when processing new inmates to the county/state bed and breakfast. Here's is an article I found on Juxtapoz about one of Robert Gumbert's recent projects: Please share your photos and also if you know of any books. Here is a book I found that looks good: Prison Tattoos
  9. and then there were more pictures of people with tattoos.......This may be one of my favorite batches sent my way..... The picture of Freddy Madball with Maximus may be my favorite.
  10. Welcome! Let us know when you get some of your tattoo pictures uploaded to your gallery so we can check them out, thanks.
  11. Looks cool.....I collect cemetery and religious stuff/objects/etc so much of the art I like and do is related. If it was in the Bay Area you'd see me there but Toronto I don't think is in my cards anytime soon.....thanks for sharing.
  12. Thanks and glad you're enjoying what you're seeing so far on our tattoo forum and look forward to seeing some more Australian tattoos and Maori tattoos......
  13. Thanks for introducing yourself and joining LST Tattoo Forum.....hope you enjoy your stay with us.....
  14. The contest(s) we have in mind requires us putting some techy stuff in place first and the tech guy has been working on it.........so we are hoping sooner than later. As soon as we know the next contest is a go you all will know! Thanks for asking and being patient with us.

  19. Just saw this new video of our homie Rich who owns Spragwerks done by Hooper Magazine. He builds some badass jewelery and is an amazing person! Edit...can't post video on site so check it out here
  20. Here are some more religious/spiritual tattoo pictures I found recently: Freddy Corbin (Temple Tattoo)- Jesus Head with crown of thorns Derrick Snodgrass (Temple Tattoo)- Jesus with I think character from Pirates of The Caribbean head???? Freddy Corbin (Temple Tattoo)- Chest piece with praying hands, roses, script, banner Freddy Corbin (Temple Tattoo)- Rosary, check out the cross....so amazing! Heath Preheim (Temple Tattoo)- Cross with skull & crossbones, roses...something about this tattoo just sits with me really liking it and I can't pinpoint it.?????. Mike Wilson (Inksmith and Rogers Tattoo)- Skull Guadelupe....the robe she is wearing is radicool. I always enjoy when tattooers put their own spin on the robe of this popular tattoo to make it their own. Mike Wilson (Inksmith and Rogers Tattoo)- Sacred Heart

  24. A few weeks back Conspiracy Inc. in Copenhagen tweeted a comment something along the lines of needing to watermark their tattoo pictures. So I responded how it is also nice when tattooers watermark tattoo pictures so as they travel the internet those of us who want to know can know who did the tattoos. I know I often am sent tattoo pictures with no tattooer or tattoo shop information which frustrates me. Or wandering the internet looking for tattoo pictures and see some amazing tattoos but have no way of knowing who did them and/or where. The reason I and I know others want to know who did the tattoos is so we can know who is doing good tattoos and give them the credit they deserve plus the of course enjoyment from looking at great tattoos. Also now with this tattoo forum we want to give the tattooers credit when we stumble across their work and post the photos on the site so others can know as well. We, LST, often look at other tattoo sites, forums, blogs, etc and see "too many" of them have some pretty bad tattoos posted which equates to, if these tattoos are the majority of what customers see the bar can not be set. Hence one of the reasons we started this tattoo forum so tattoo customers can see there is no need to settle for below par tattoos. This site is to try and give the tattooers credit who intrigue us and in return so they not only get more work but also so tattoo customers can get better tattoos. So with that tattoo ramble, we start the Tattoo Watermark thread for both tattooers and tattoo customers. To watermark or not? Stories? Etc...............
