I love seeing the daily tattoos he post via his twitter account, so impressive! One of my friends in helLA has been getting tattooed by Chuey a bunch lately. Next time I see him I'll try to get some photos of the tattoos Chuey has tattooed on him.

At the middle point of the year.....what are the most popular tattoos you are seeing seeing and tattooing? I've been seeing a lot of lady heads with animal heads as hats over and over again. Regardless of it being popular I've seen more good than bad tattoo designs and pictures of this so happy to see quality tattoos that catch my eye.

Cali kids....I'm offended! haha, I think kids almost everywhere though just my perspective and observations trend chase which is part of being a teenager for some. But on a more serious note though I don't think "serious" fits this thread but anywho....did any of the other fellow Oakland residents who are also familiar with helLA take note that homegirl says Oakland at the beginning but the video appears to be filmed in helLA. The brown street signs, the houses, fendi store, "Fairfax" street sign, .......

For me I see a picture of a tattoo or a tattooer doing a tattoo of a certain image and sometimes they just stick with me. I almost get obsessed in looking at variations of that one image and love seeing peoples takes on them. So lately I have been looking at, watching, and searching for ship or boat tattoos. I tend to enjoy ones that stick close to traditional tattoos but enjoy many of the variations. So here are some recent ones that I have been enjoying and wishing the quality of the pictures for some were better so I could really gaze at them. I love that blackheart anniversary machine and the new coils he's doing with the laser engraving are pretty bitching too. Do you or Scott have a picture of the 222 machine or how about that one that's made from an old bolt or is it a nail and other random bottom of the tool box crap....

I was waiting on getting my back tattooed due to people telling me when I started getting tattooed that the front hurts way more and as you get older the pain increases to get tattooed so I started getting my front done which thank good is ninety percent there plus the tattoo ideas for my back have continued to change over the years. Some portions of the ideas/designs have stuck while others fall off and continue to take shape in my mind though I think I am getting close to nailing it down. When I finally thought I had some great ideas for me and had two tattooers who I would love to see their take I thought fuck it lets see if they'll do it as a collaboration. Waiting on the finances before I pitched the idea to them I did tell my brother, Jake, and that lil bastard took my idea. I think he has even asked both of the tattooers and they've showed interest though I'll have to ask him as I just tune him out now when it comes to the talk, haha. So now I'm gonna have to up the ante and I've got some ideas.....brotherly rivalry is a blast. Anywho..... From the above comments it seems it may just be as much fun as the front has been......I look forward to continuing to read this thread in anticipation and get ideas/learning on making it more tolerable for me and the tattooer(s) who will finally do it.
