1. On November fifth the grand opening is going down! It is invite only though open to the public with tickets on opening night from 7pm to 2am. You can visit the website here. Any LSTers going? I know one who is going and says he is going to have a special gift for LST afterwards...I hope it happens.... From what I hear it is run by donations and actual visitors so if you're going to support something this is one of them!

17. I had heard about this upcoming Black Flag art show from a few people then Tim Shelton was nice enough to send me the flyer (see below attached). If you are in the area you should go! The list of artist contributing is mind blowing!! Any LSTers plan on going who want to post a blog with pictures about it after the show?
18. Alright so we, LST, setup a page....trying to figure it out and see how it goes. If you want to see here it is LST Pinterest Page. It is kind of frustrating that some of the tattoo artist, blogs and shops we follow regularly we can not add to pinterest due to how their websites are built...blahumbug I had to request an invitation so if you want one let me know.....

20. One of the many great things that have occurred since we started LST is that I have met many new people through the site. Some I've had the opportunity to then meet face-to-face while others not yet, though I hope to. Avery Taylor is one of those people I look forward to meeting the next time I find myself up his way or if he comes down here. Not only do we share an enjoyment for tattoos but we also work in similar professions so every now and then we private message back and forth about things. In the world of working with individuals wether social work and/or psychology, Canada is one of the leaders in my school of thought so I am often intrigued by what they are doing to innovate drug policy among other societal public health concerns rather than subscribe to the unsuccessful american "war on drugs" like some other countries have done. They help raise the bar on how the government should properly get involved for public health and other concerns that effect the general public plus they show impressive results when you look at their data. They sometimes take what other countries may call "political risk" but what I refer to as creative initiative in order to try and best serve the citizens and the concerns that come along with it/them. From Vancouver to Quebec they lead the way and sometimes make me wish I worked up there.....but this is not the forum for that, this is a tattoo forum so before I go on a tangent lets check out Avery's tattoos..... On that note I wish to thank Avery for being a part of LST and doing The Three Questions.......
21. I know some of his flash in the book had SF on it and Juan was saying he had a shop just east of Masonic on Haight but don't know of others....Also on the Pike he tattooed but thats not Bay Area......
22. I was killing some time in the city yesterday so ended up at Blackheart as I normally do when I have free time in SF and was flipping through books in their "reference library" and two books that kept me in awe were a Phil Sims Flash Book and a Cliff Raven Flash Book. I saw all sorts of great tattoos I would love to have.....anyone on this forum have any Phil Sims and/or Cliff Raven tattoos and/or ones from their flash? If you have some from their flash who tattooed it? Pictures of course would be enjoyed!
23. Yesterday I was shown a newer site called pinterest.com and was wondering if any LSTers are using it? Or are there other sites like it you are using? Pinterest seemed cool for having mobile access to your favorite buttons if you are on multiple computers......
