A new year and a new month so that means it's time for the monthly contest.....take all that holiday money, get a good tattoo and post it up here to win a Scott Sylvia T-shirt!! Maybe the shirt will motivate people to get better tattoos........or just the insight you'll have a good looking tattoo years down the line. A cheap tattoo is just that so shopping around for the lowest price will probably give you a tattoo with the lowest likes..... LST Monthly Contest The tattoo picture that gets posted in this thread for January 2013 with the most 'likes' for the month wins! The contest starts on the first of the month and ends on the last day of the month. Contest Guidlines -Your tattoo picture must be posted in this thread (both tattooers and tattoo customers can win) in order to qualify. -Include with your photo/post...tattoo artist name & tattoo shop. -You MUST be the one who has the tattoo or did the tattoo. -You can 'like' as many tattoos as you want. -It can be a finished or in progress tattoo. To increase your 'likes' or to show off another's great tattoo share the link to the post in this thread on facebook, twitter, etc. - to get votes from your friends.. Lets do it.........

Sometimes newish users need their images approved by a mod though you are far from new to the site so I checked that area and nothing was there..... Let's see what @steve1461686340 can find.....

Tell them all to jump ship and come to LST to post their stuff!!!! We have no intentions of selling others artwork. Minus an upcoming feature we'll be offering but that is grounded in respect for tattooing and tattooers that Scott will be heading....can't say too much yet.

Welcome to the tattoo forum. If you've chosen a good tattooer that can do their job then giving them an idea even a vague one you can let them work their magic as long as you don't try and dictate or micromanage their process too much. More often than not you'll get additions you never considered....look forward to seeing it

you can always ferry from the city to larkspur then cab or bus up two exits. the ferry ride is amazing!!

@shinobi go in with the rough idea you want then let the tattooer (who ever you choose) at Sid's work their magic of drawing you a badass tattoo with their expertise then come share it with us! (please)

I've heard of and seen more allergic reactions to these "specialty" tattoo healing products than the good ol trusty ones of lotion.....so I stay clear, just my experience.

Well this month was pretty badass for great tattoos as well as lots of voting. Thanks to everyone who posted, liked, and got some awesome tattoos! Both people who won got multiple tattoos over a short period of time. The SFO convention wins in general for putting out some of the most liked tattoos for Novembers best tattoo and from that convention we've got a tie..... The winners are: @ian with his skulls by Jeff Gogue & skull by Jondix (post #2), Congratulations!! AND the other winner is @Scott R for his Eagle backpiece laser then coverup by Scott Sylvia (post #17), Congratulations!! It's been cool to see both guys tattoos and process to get the tattoos they wanted overtime so thanks for sharing with us at LST! Bring on Decembers Tattoo Contest....... Welcome to LST and glad you were able to find the site via googling your question and hope you'll find this community helpful...I must ask...I know the picture is close up and small though there appears to be several things that have me wondering so my first question is, was this tattoo done in a shop?
