I don't understand the problem with lanolin... not trying to hassle you... but it's harvested from the wool that gets sheared anyway. If sheep don't get sheared they'll eventually die. Shearing is good. Why no lanolin?

Although I very much prefer real books, because I'm on the road for work - I don't have the luxury of hauling many books around. I have a nook, and I also read on my laptop and on my phone... it's not perfect, but it's better than just not reading anything.

Nope, like the word "else", as in "who else?" It's very close to the proper pronunciation of the actual name on my birth certificate - but my real name is Dutch and people *really* don't know what to do with that one...

Just got home from my appointment with Marie Sena. She is an absolute gem. There aren't enough nice things to say about her... Still in a bit of a haze, I'll get a picture up as soon as I can get my head together enough to do it.

Well, if it isn't fixed yet by the next time I'm there I'll definitely take a look at it for you. But really, there are a whole bunch of people that <3 wool there... I'm sure someone can take care of it. Black Sheep Gathering in Eugene in June and Clackamas Flock and Fiber Fest (May?) would be excellent bets if you don't find someone sooner.

@David Flores someone who understands the properties of 100% wool could probably do a nearly invisible repair on it... do you know any fiber artists? I know there's a ton of them in Portland.
