    I had a whole bunch going at once there for awhile... I definitely noticed that each subsequent tattoo was taking longer and longer to heal. And that the day after was getting harder and harder on each one. I've been on a little break here for the past couple months. It looks like my break will be ending soon though and I'll be healing multiple tattoos again :D

    I haven't been tattooed by him (yet!), but when I met him earlier this year I was struck by how nice he was. He's high up on my list just because he was so easygoing.

    I spend the majority of my time with old folks, and I don't think their tattoos look bad at all!! Faded yes, but bad? No way!! Everyone's skin sags. I'd rather have faded sagging tattoos, than be a sagging plainskin. Gonna sag either way. People spend way too much time thinking about how tattoos look on old people.

    @Delicious , maybe I'm just partial to his work, but even before I saw Steve Byrne's name next to it I liked the "Heart Broken" girl the best. I think she's "practically perfect in every way."

    Mine *always* look like shit during healing. Always. and then they look AWESOME. Eat healthy, rest enough, wash your hands a lot. As @Mark Bee said, your body will heal itself if you let it.

    I haven't done anything on the thigh yet, just calves, but my experience so far with calves is that the less clothes you have rubbing on them the better.

    I know right!?!? I've got something lined up in May (but may have to cancel it depending on my current contract :( ) and I'm working on something in June... new tattoos on the horizon!! :D

    Today, for the first time since early December, I shaved my legs FEARLESSLY - without caution, just waved that razor around all willy-nilly! ;) Finally, everything is healed!! (Guess it must be time to get something new booked right?!?!)

    Mine always look faded and kind of "sad" for a little while during healing. But they're are all as bright and deeply colored now as the day they went on now that healing is over. Give it a little time. :)

    I'm *technically* a resident of the state right now. But, with the way my job works, I spend very little actual time there. (Like - less than 8 weeks of the past year.) I lived there for part of my high school/college years too, but that was awhile back. Richard Stell is opening up a shop in Tulsa really soon - May I think? And there's some good tattooers scattered here and there. I'm not actually there enough to keep up with things.

    Possibly... I'm probably going to be in Abilene on 4/6 anyway, which is one of the days it's playing there. I'll see what I feel like on the day of.

    I guess I've been living in the country too long... I was thinking "what's wrong with rooster tattoos? Lots of people have them!"
