@Brock Varty I just went to my feed and checked it out and it looks amazing!
That's a lot of work done in just two days, it's no wonder you were frazzled!!
When do you go back?
That was you!!! That's so cool!!
It's one of my most favorite things when I see something really cool in IG and then find out it was someone from here! :D
I bet you are sore...
I rocked serious cankles after both of the calf tattoos I've had. Couldn't even tell there was a bone in there!
And I limped around, but not for more than a day or two for either of these two, but I was able to spend the first 2 days after (on both of them) lying around with my legs elevated and not doing much which I think helped.
Towards the end of February I'm getting something done mid-week and won't have the luxury of staying home from work in the days after so I'll have to see how it goes... I'm anticipating it will be a little bit awful.
You could talk to her ahead of time about how it's going to be GIANT!! a HUGE tattoo that covers most of your whole arm. And then when she sees that it's really only a 1/4 page size she'll be super relieved.
Oh man! Not awesome!! Spilled ~800 tiny seed beads on the floor a little while ago... :-(
And while on hands and knees picking up as many as I could find I discovered 2(!) dried up scorpion corpses underneath my sitting chair!! Ack!!
@Bunny Switchblade and the "Tattoo Historian" were my favorite pieces.
I found a lot of it really hard to read (as a pdf on my laptop), I wish it was on paper. Although, I suppose if it was on paper I would have a lot harder time accessing it here in tiny-town Texas.
Well, tattoo pigment will end up in your lymph nodes
Microscopics… « mortui vivos docent
but I don't think it matters where you get the tattoo for that to happen.
Will, hopefully, be able to pick up my new phone next week too! So many problems will be solved including taking pictures, making random phone calls, opening random apps, and moving icons around without being told.
I was talking to my sister the other day about my plans for upcoming tattoos (she's supportive of me no matter what I do, but thinks I have plenty of tattoos already). She asked how I find out who is doing what and when they're going to be in town. I told her I was following a bunch of them on Instagram and her reply was "um, maybe you should quit following so many tattooers on instagram and just look at pictures of cats like everybody else".
Good guess @MadeIndelible
I am seeing Steve Byrne - next week!
Last week I thought I had decided what, specifically, I wanted him to do but a couple days ago I reverted back to not really caring too much about the specific imagery... I am, however, strongly considering asking him to do my knees. Just to get 'em over with!
I have a working theory about this whole communication thing... So far the results have been pretty interesting. I'm going to test my hypothesis a few more times before I share my findings with y'all though.
I won't bore y'all with all the gory details, there've been some things I've been super stressed about - a bunch of stuff that all seemed to be going the wrong way, but it all seems to be reversing now and going in my favor! Feeling such a huge sense of relief!
@ChrisvK That is SO AWESOME!! You'll have the time of your life!! Take a lot of pictures (and maybe even keep a journal).
