  1. all those shapes and stuff are pretty wild man.. what was the thought behind it?
  2. does anyone know or has anyone undergone the tobil infrared machine for coverup work? in san antonio they a have a community thing that charges 50 a session.. its not laser, and its a white light so it just zaps shit off.. i know it can leave your skin fucked up, at best discolored.. i know a lot of people (ex gang members and shit) opt for this over their ink, but havent heard of any coverup stories..
  3. how about some of those asian peices tho? also.. fuck.. i have "23"on me, not very big, with "justin" arching over it, like "jordan".. nobodies said shit.. ive even had a stay in county with a bunch of prison dudes..
  4. yeah, the one one all the way to the right is sick.. - - - Updated - - - wow, n/m.. didnt realize you could scroll down.. a few of those are really good and sound.. check out that 12ozprophet link i posted on the last page if you want shitty..
  5. thanks! that was a helpful read, now i think i understand this shit.. - - - Updated - - - does anyone know anything about astanza revolution laser? this good to knock out some black ink? going to a consultation tomorrow with a guy who uses one..
  6. theres a derm nearby who uses the cynosure accolade.. is this the best on the market?
  7. yeah, i was gonna say.. theres nothing funny about talking about bad resturants or albums.. this shit here though.. but im with you on being bummed.. i came across a couple megathreads with some really sad shit, and then too much of that shit made me sad too (but because of all the really bad tattoos).. now im going to watch the debate and get more sad.. but if you want gold.. ------>BAD TATTOOS<------ - Page 147 - THE WRITERS FORUM - THE GRAFFITI DESTINATION that thread is it..
  8. man, thats crazy how the background is all gone at 5.. was it darker before the first treatment? or is post-first treatment pic pretty accurate of how it originally was?
  9. cool, good call.. i just sent out some emails to some people..
  10. you guys are right about taking my time, treating it like a tattoo, etc.. thats my frame of mind/approach right now.. about the creams, i know theyre bs.. i was just wondering in conjuction with treatment, because ive heard that they can atleast "fade".. ill check out that topic though.. ian, i know, your progress pics were amazing.. im actually in new mexico, and closer to los angeles than i am to dallas.. both would be a bitch to get to and $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.. but im left wondering what the factors are, or if there are several variables, not really what profession the person is whos doing it, but the skill of the tech. and equipment used, etc.. i know its gotta be the right combo.. ill research that.. - - - Updated - - - and reviews on cremes.. those companies are notorious for going on message boards, articles, blogs, etc. and forming a story and claiming that it works.. fucking scam artists..
  11. awsome, thanks.. thats probably the consensus, is that the artists themselves would be the best route.. i dont doubt that, but theres also some shady/bad artists out there.. nobody i know does it, and the only place i know of that supposedly does got shut down (reopened i think) for dealing in guns and other shit.. also, yeah, those places look great.. and all of the reputable places, but im unable to travel very far for this.. im also not in tx, but nm, and theres hardly any info on the local level.. i dont even know anybody locally whos had this done.. so i gotta go based off the experience of you guys and my gut feeling.. how was the treatment provided by your doctor? i know more expensive, but quality wise, compared to the tattoo artist removals? money is def an issue, but more so, just want to find somebody who knows what theyre doing.. - - - Updated - - - p.s. the full sleeve thing may be over time.. i may just concentrate on the lower sleeves first, maybe a coverup or two in fucked up post treatment looking areas.. a little off topic, but im wondering if these so-called "creams" really do serve any purpose afterall.. like, using them to rid the last traces of a tattoo that the laser couldnt get.. i even saw on another forum, some guy using them in conjuction with laser with good results (or the cream companies last attempt of tricking you into them being relevant).. but who knows, the good results may have came just from the laser.. how could you tell..
  12. thanks, definantly helped me out.. im more about the experience of tattood people rather than ad's and dr's office info.. cant helpt to feel like everyones trying too hard to sell me something.. - - - Updated - - - ive heard.. gonna take it like a G..
  13. im also debating on a full sleeve removal, so im a little freaked out.. any advice anyone has at all on this subject is much appreciated.. thanks..
  14. theres conflicting opinions on this, so i just gotta ask.. but what do you guys think- the expensive dermatologist with consultation fees, or the affordable "laser specialist" with good rates and and free consultations? or does it all just really depend? - - - Updated - - - also, this is the place im looking and have a consultation for on friday.. http://removal-ink.com/index.html i dont know what to think about the multiple websites and pr releases they put out themselves on webpages where you can do such a thing (as seen on their facebook).. they have a video clip up, and a couple before and after pictures.. im really foreign to this whole laser thing..
  15. i had to google "craigslist tattoo u?" to see that shit for myself.. wow..
  16. cool, thanks.. thats probably what ill be doing.. ive also heard that *gasp*.. creams, in conjuction, helps the fading.. napalm, if you dont mind me asking, how much are you paying for 5? i have two, mostly black.. they say they offer specials on multiple tattoos.. its a "laser specialist" in el paso, who also says that their prices are competitive.. i wouldnt mind going for three if i could afford it, or just get these two on the arm im most focused on, then wait for the other.. also, what CANT you do before a session? if i could get a couple of drinks in me, thatd be amazing.. or even a chill pill.. like a benzo.. nothing for the pain.. its not the actual pain that im worried about.. more so just the worry of it being painful, and rather be relaxed going into this..
  17. edit* had shit to say about how it IS fraud.. those are two different tattoos.. shame on this article..
  18. also, im aware of what the research says.. but in your guys' experience, do you feel like health and nutrtion helped this process along? did you guys do anything different, or switch up your lifestyles at all? i just heard on wnpr, some studies that indicated that removing tattoos from smokers is hard and sometimes not even possible (for full removal).. they were throwing out a bunch of wack percentage points..
  19. too cool hipster shops and their artists.. other than that, as long as i feel comfertable there, im good..
  20. william, i need to get set straight from artists.. thats how i learn.. its not done in a rude manner, and maybe theyll laugh about it when i leave.. but im with the artists in this thread.. i see this dumb shit all the time in shops.. artist seem to handle it well, and im standing there like "really?".. i think its more of a common sense thing.. nobody had to tell me how to take an image or idea to the shop.. i just always thought of the best way possible, which isnt hard.. those "yo, dawg i want this cross" phone guys are annoying... people are just too pushy and fucking dumb about stuff.. theyre the same way outside of tattoo shops.. if you bumped into them anywhere else youd notice how fucking dumb they were..
  21. WHO THE HELL WOULD USE THAT SHIT TO PROMOTE THEIR SHOP???????? - - - Updated - - - LOL the dangerfield.. looks like a black dude from the turn of the centuary..
