I recently got a rose on the inside of my calf about 4" below my knee. The last two that I've gotten have been on the lower leg so I'm well used to the surge of pain upon standing(totally sucks). For me this time the healing sucked because of my pants constantly rubbing the area, so I highly recomend finding pants that are gentle on the new tattoo.

I smoked for 10 years, quit cold turkey when I was 25. I used to smoke around a pack and a half a day or more. keep it up man!!!!

I had a nightmare last night about missing my appointment that I have tomorrow and for the life of me I couldn't get ahold of the artist to let him know that I wasn't going to be able to make it. So I ended running to the shop and searching frantically for him and still not being able to find him. Everyone in the shop was like "dude that's messed up, you didn't even call man" and stuff to that effect haha. I woke up in a panic and scrambled for my phone so I could see what day and time it was.

While I don't remember the very first tattoo i saw, I grew up around punk rockers and gang folk so I've been around them since I can remember. The first tattoo that I saw that made me say oh fuck thats amazing was a buddy of mine who had just gotten a panther head on his elbow and a tiger head on his other, I was about 15-16ish.

My first tattoo that i got I was 18 and it was my last name in old english across my shoulders. I figured the family couldn't get mad about that haha. My mom was all ready used to me having mohawks and dyed hair, she freaked more when i pierced my lip with a safety pin when i was 15. My grandpa was a little upset when he first saw it and my mom looked at him and said "he's still the same kid dad". Im pretty lucky to have that lady as my mom. I just got another last night and the first thing I did this morning was send her a pic of it haha
