Let's just say there was a time in my life where I never would have imagined that I'd brew beer for a living! The 90s were a funny time.
-
Oh like edge tattoos have ever prevented anybody from partaking.
-
Welcome, let's see what you have!
-
All of you make me feel like such a wimp about the inner arm.

Anything in particular there because it just links to the shop's Facebook. That said I will certainly pay CTC a visit if I am ever in Chicago.

I predict that we're going to see a resurgence in people getting Greg Irons designs. And by people I mean me.

Great looking eagle you posted there, welcome to LST and we hope you like it here.

Really all you'd need is a good strong magnet and you could pull his face off.

According to the Needles and Sins facebook group this isn't the first time he's tattooed his name on a girl's face: Can somebody please shoot him or at least cut off his hands so we can talk about awesome tattoos instead?

There's so much magic in old sailor tattoos. I love that stuff.

Welcome! You make some great tattoos.

I haven't seen the Avatar one so I'm going with this one because maybe I'm jumping to conclusions based on incomplete information here but none of those other tattoos seem like the person who got them was very likely coerced into getting them. Maybe I'm wrong here and that soft-brained BME hippie is right and that this face tattoo is a testament to love and shit, but I've never experienced or observed love that looks like that. Seems more like abuse to me. The tattoo itself isn't the point.

Thou shalt not revive the thread about tattooers with little to no tattoos thread because it is FACT that tattooers are required to be tattooed and your opinion will not change this.
-
Her walking into a shop asking for her face to be tattooed doesn't mean that the shop or the artist is under any obligation whatsoever to give her that tattoo.

Yeah, that's the set, and that skull is the reason why I bought it. I later got that skull tattooed on me.

I bought an 8 sheet red and black set from Ron Henry Wells last summer, but I still need to frame them and hang them which I will probably not do for a while yet because we are short of wall space here and we're moving in the next few months so there's not much point in doing any home decorating until after the move.

Congratulations, @Iwar!

I rewrapped my latest tattoo on my artist's advice and while I don't want to jump to any conclusions because the tattoo isn't healed yet, my first impressions are that it works extremely well. The recommendation was to leave the saran wrap on overnight, wash the tattoo in the morning, let it dry completely, then rewrap it with saran wrap. I was doing a 7-8 hour drive back home the day after the tattoo so he said to leave it on until I got home. I was really concerned about the rewrap because it felt gross throughout the drive and it smelled fucking horrible when I got home and took it off to wash it again...but I'm on day three now and the tattoo is peeling beautifully with no scabbing. He said that rewrapping it would cut the healing time in half. I am certain that the technical application of the tattoo played a huge part in this as well. I would also never do this without it being specifically recommended by my artist, or at least discussed with him or her prior to doing it.

I don't know, when the article starts with "About a month ago, Rouslan Toumaniantz, a well known and sometimes notorious Belgium-based tattoo artist (of Tattoo Box in Kortrijk), and Lesya, a designer living at the time in Saransk, a city in central Russia started talking via chat (Rouslan speaks fluent Russian) and realized they had a lot in common, and quickly began falling head over heels in love" and then the next step is the dude tattooing his name on her face, I think they should both be called out and made fun of, because that is some bullshit right there.

Can I suggest some words for you? "I do laser removal, here's my card."
-
It just leads to a black hole of shitty tattoos, really not worth the effort.

8.1 Thou shalt not google "Hatchet Man flash" hoping to get a glimpse of the aforementioned Smith Street sheet because you know very well that shit is not on the Internet and you are going to be upset with what you do find.

I think the important thing with the arnica is that you start taking it around a day before getting tattooed because it needs to already be in your system to be effective.

With regard to swelling, for my latest tattoo I took arnica tablets the day before getting tattooed, before and during the tattoo, and today is the second day after it and I've taken one today and that was probably the last one I'll take, but I feel that it helped a lot in reducing the swelling. We pretty much completely blacked in my elbow and I was expecting it to balloon, but it only swelled up a little, and I think the arnica really helped with that. I will certainly take it again for my next sessions, especially when we hit my inner bicep because my other inner bicep swelled up like a motherfucker when I got it tattooed and I am interested to see how they compare.

Welcome to LST and I'm glad that you're learning from here. I would suggest looking at Gomineko Books for kappa reference, she published a book on Japanese mythical creatures that I looked through and there was a lot of great stuff in it. Japanese Tattoo Art Design Book Magazine Gomineko Japan Who will be doing your tattoo?
