  1. Forearm? I wish my body was made of forearms.
  2. It looks like you're in good hands there. I'd also look into the guys at Solid State Tattoo though. Most of that Dietzel collection that I assume you saw comes from Jon Reiter who tattoos there, and Julio Avila and Josh Howard are great too.
  3. Also the only reason you need to get tattooed is that you like tattoos. You don't need to justify it to people who don't know shit about tattoos.
  4. Welcome and who will be doing the tattoo?
  5. Are you going to get something rad?
  6. This isn't the most original idea ever, and it's just a sketch, but I had fun with this one today:
  7. Really nice looking tattoos there, welcome!
  8. Welcome. Goddamn that Rock of Ages is great.
  9. And if you want a tattoo that's easy to conceal you can get, oh I don't know, A BACK PIECE. You can get your thighs tattooed, your ribs, your torso, your shoulders, and you can easily cover those with clothing. Wanting or needing to keep your tattoos covered in a professional setting, when you're with your family who doesn't approve of tattoos, or whatever, doesn't mean that you can't get pretty much covered with great tattoos.
  10. Matching tattoo pigment to skin tone so the tattoo isn't noticeable? Some people shouldn't get tattooed. That shit is retarded.
  11. Thomas did artwork for Tombs and at least their bassist has tattoos from him too. They're worth a listen.
  12. I don't know of any specifically in Cape Cod, but I'd drive to Providence RI and go to Providence Tattoo. I really like what Dennis there is doing, but they all have really solid portfolios. Ron Henry Wells is mostly based in RI these days as well, I believe. He's tattooed me a couple of times and I highly recommend him, he's a great tattooer and really such a warm and enthusiastic guy. I can't guess what a tattoo like that would cost.
  13. Hello and welcome. The best way to get a good tattoo is to go to a good artist. If you tell us where you are we can suggest some good people around you. That we don't talk about price here aside, it's impossible to tell you what a tattoo like that "should" cost because pricing usually depends on a lot of factors.
  14. Hello and welcome. @SStu gave you some good advice there. I would assume from how you said that you'll be able to get a tattoo in a few months that you aren't yet 18, and if that's the case...and even if it isn't...take your time and don't rush it, especially if you feel nervous about it. Take the time to learn a little bit about tattoos...I would suggest browsing this forum, watching the artist interview videos, Vice's Tattoo Age series and the Gypsy Gentleman videos, and make sure that you find a good artist. This thread has a bunch of recommendations for tattooers in Los Angeles.
  15. This picture of Elizabeth Weinzirl's back was posted on instagram today by Dianne Mansfield (photodianne). She was 80 years old when the photo was taken. If you don't follow photodianne on instagram, you really should, there are so many treasures there.
  16. If you're going to tattoo your face can I at least suggest this?
  17. I don't think the main intention there was to show you his tattoos...
  18. Welcome! Do you have any pictures of your tattoos?
  19. Great tattoos, great first post, and welcome!
  20. Oh shit, that's going to be so great!
  21. I don't, but he is an incredible tattooer and I would love to get tattooed by him one day.
