In the past my trouble spots we obvious in the first 24 hours. They were the spots that would keep oozing ink/blood/lymph no matter how many times it was patted dry with a paper towel. Then when everything else was peeled those spots would have thick scabs. I had one of those spots last month in the area behind my knee and it eventually peeled but I can notice some minor ink loss but probably not noticeable enough to bother touching it up. next session i will probably have a terrible healing experience because i've bragged too much about how easy it has been this time.

I'm very surprised at how easy and fast the healing has been with my back overall and especially with this most recent session. I was worried that the area closest to my armpit would have some trouble healing because it twists and stretches a lot with almost ever movement. 4 days after the session that section has been the first to fully flake/peal. Still red and sore but overall a pretty comfortable healing experience.

some black and grey biomech type stuff is what i have in mind for my armpits. but they wont be for a long time if ever.

My plan for 4th of July weekend is SPF 50 sun screen applied often + a SPF 50 rashguard shirt and probably floating under a raft instead of floating on top of it.

solid choice! sounds like all you have to do now is stop by his shop to see what he thinks will work best as a cover up.

My main focus right now is my back piece so I haven't been super focused on my training... I PR'd my pull ups (strict no kipping) with 4 at a body weight of about 210lbs. I also PR'd my bench with 1 rep @195lb. -
makes perfect sense to give away the left overs from Taco Tuesday on Free Taco Wednesday.

@Rob I do you have a plan for that offensively blank arm? :)

it would be weird. but i would still feel pretty indifferent about it. on the positive side, it is confirmation that at least 1 other person likes your tattoo :)
-
would you like your tattoo any less if it was a piece of flash or design from a widely distributed sketch book? it is still a cool tattoo.
