Well I mean my first tattoo from them turned out great, but it wasnt a face nor anything remotely comparable to what I want now. So that is my issue. they gave me a great ganesh but I am afraid I will do the wait for an awesome lady head. :( Not willing to have a second rate lady head. But I think the other tattoos I want would be fine, like a name or flowers which were on my list.

I dont drive. - - - Updated - - - But I am trying to find a way to get up to sf for sure. just wont be anytime soon. I guess as long as its not a face I should be fine in getting a tattoo from them.

My reason for my apprehension is i worry a bit that if i got a lady head from dennis or geo, it wouldnt be exactly what i wanted, because of the way they do lips and noses. But Dennis did give me a wonderful tattoo, and I am eager to go back. clean, fast tattooing with a fair price is hard to beat. I just feel apprehensive because I am his personal friend on facebook, sometimes the things he posts arent exactly the best tattoos, then he stuns with a great one. I will problably go to dennis but I posted because you guys have way more tattoos and better trained eyes to spot this kind of thing than I.

Ok so here is the deal. I am getting tattooed within the next two weeks. Am planning on going to a shop that the man who did my ganesh tattoo opened. The thing is, I am not sure if I should go to this shop, or if i should get tattooed by anyone there. I have already been tattooed by one, and my sister by another artist in this shop, but I am still apprehensive. I was thinking one for a script name, the other for a 20's flapper lady head. I want to go with dennis but am unsure.

my sister went but i didnt not have the money to go at the same time. I am getting it soon, problably within the next three weeks. As for the flapper, that is dependant upon my friend.

The contrast wasn't pumped up, it was just the lighting from the shop compared to my house was different. No problems healing except for a few pimple in some places... I still really like it but i guess I should get used to it not being exactly what it was

So I just posted that I had taken my sister in for her first tattoo yesterday. Later on that night, as I took a picture for her, I asked her to finally take a good picture of my tattoo, now that it has been 9 months... Not to say it looks bad, but it looks different. For example this is what my tattoo looked like within the first 5 minutes of being done Now 9 months later, this is what I have Both are unedited pictures. Have any of you noticed such a big difference between the new tattoo and what you have currently on your body? Its faded, some of the red in the head markings and in the trunk have faded to near nothing, some of the blue surrounding it has vanished... So yesterday I took my sister to get her first tattoo... it came out wonderfully but i highly doubt I would use the same guy because of some of the stuff he did. Didnt shave her before he tattooed her, didnt bandage her or cover it at all when she left. I took her to walgreens within 5 minutes and bought her sterile gauze to cover it... still though even though it looks great Im super iffy about him. I think I will just go to the guy who did my first tattoo. Anyway here is her tattoo

because we like the way it looks written out, its a beautiful name. And plus it was what my grandmother asked of me to get for her. a Butterfly with her name. id like to respect her wishes

So my sister and I are planning on getting a matching tattoo... idk if any of you remember but it was gonna be just me getting her name and a butterfly, but my sister wanted to do it too so here we are. Problably gonna be sometime next month, or beginning of november. we cant decide where to get it, and its bothering us really bad. also, its hard to find a font we both like, because she doesnt like traditional fonts and all the google image script ones she likes are total shit. Who knew it would be so hard to write out Bonita Cecilia? So any way you could steer us in the right direction, we'd appreciate it. Also, as a side note, planning on getting a flapper lady head on my thigh within the next two months as well... excited! haha also gonna match my friend, she wanted to get something great gatsby related with me

funny how you mention this, my mom and my brother always said that a girl getting an image of a woman on her made her a dyke, and that girls with arm tattoos are the same as being manly..

this makes me feel ill... somehow this woman made a mark on her son's body all about HER. her wants, ,her emotions, her fears... I feel so bad for her son. How would it feel as a grown man to go get a tattoo only to be ostracized by your mother and guilt-tripped by her because of something you chose to do to your own body? If my grandmother, my father, my stepdad, my mother hated my tattoo and were upset with me for what I put into my skin... It would break me. My dad may not like tattoos, but at least he respects my right to get them.

it is but i asked her what she wanted or what she would like me to get. She said heart with banner or butterflies. Id like to respect her wishes. the heart with banner is ok, I really prefer the heart, dagger, and snake. But since I asked her for her opinion and for her desire (since I am doing it to honor her), I am bound to respect it. So even if she asked me to get a panther, I would because of the fact she had requested it. Its my way of showing my love. By putting on something she can be comfortable with and that she likes - - - Updated - - - You know what? I am gonna ask her if she would like a bunny and like a butterfly or something. To get out of the heart with banner thing. Lol she loves rabbits, when I was a kid she used to go get left over lettuce from the grocery store then every night made me go feed the wild rabbits. But who knows. For now its between the heart with a banner and the butterfly

Well I didnt attack anyone personally, I just really dont like panther tattoos, and thats my opinion. I have no problem with others getting them, and I picked the banner in the heart because its what she wanted.... not me. I asked my grandma what she liked at that was it, well that or butterflies. So once again, sorry if I offended anyone, not intentional, I know I could have worded my opinion better

it's cause of a joke i made my senior year of high school. and i have no problem with other people getting them, i just think that for me i dont like them. and sorry if i offended anyone. it was just my personal opinion. maybe it's because i never saw a panther tattoo i liked. i didnt mean to be a dick about it

well just everyone and there mother seems to be getting panthers tattooed. im not a huge fan. to each their own

i think the panther is over played... and kinda stupid in my own opinion. everyone has the traditonal panther that is like super conceptual and old timey looking... idk i just feel like its played out.

Howdy! So in the dreaded wait to be tattooed thread i said my grandmother wanted a heart or a butterfly tattooed with her name. And while I wont have the money to be tattooed until about November or so, I decided to ask you what you guys thought about my possible ideas. I would want them redrawn but as a basic template I fucking love the dagger, heart and snake. However idk if that is what my grandma would want, so the heart with the white flower would problably be something she would like. And yes I took them from google but would have my artist redraw them with his style. i know this is like putting the cart before the horse but i am just anticipating it. Lol i plan on reigning myself in so I am not like those people who always talk about their next design and yadda yadda yadda but never seem to get it. I just found this and got excited with the possibility. Oh and excuse my blind typing error
