    Who hasn't looked at the old Pike flash with the prices and such by the likes of Grimm, Shaw, Lee Roy etc and .... 1- Flipped at the price ,how cheap it was . 2-Flipped to see something from one of the greats and the lucky recipitents . Just think in fifty or so years time people will have the same reaction to your (insert whatever amount here ) Grime tattoo.

    Sorry to be an old stick in the mud but at your stage its better to get familiar with a weight by repping with perfect form ,reps build muscle not 1 rep max's .Nothing kills motivation like missing lifts , always try to tighten everything up and move the weight better /stricter ,once you've completely dominated that weight then look to slap on poundage .Unrelated but I recently watched "so you think you can squat " by elite FTS on Youtube and think it should be made compulsory viewing .

    Found this nifty piece on Ted Arcidi , although known as a bench specialist Arcidi was built like a mountain gorilla and had tremendous all round strength .This may be of assistance (wink) to guys trying to translate poundages from supplementary exercises to their main lifts.
