    Oh man. This was one of my favourite restaurants in the city. Watching this video and missing the convention this year are making me miss my life back in la belle province!

    Every single one of my tattoos is black & grey, so I don't have the luxury of the "fruity pebbles" experience. Instead, my girlfriend calls my flaking black tattoo remnants "hamster poop". Equally as breakfast-appropriate, if you ask me.

    Dave's a rad dude. He did a super cool Oni on the back of my right thigh when he was in Vancouver for the convention this past April. He's such an incredible tattooer and he's always a good hang.

    I'm spending two days with Freddy next week getting tattooed by him again. Needless to say, I'm super jazzed about it. Best dude ever. I want him to be my surrogate father.

    I just booked an appointment with Matt Arriola in August. The next 2 months or so are looking pretty cool right now... July 9th & 10th I'm getting tattooed by Freddy Corbin again, August 2nd I'm having a session on my backpiece with Chad Woodley, August 10th I'm getting tattooed by Matt Arriola, and August 22nd I'm having another session on my back with Chad. It's going to be so expensive, but so cool.

    I just got my back lined a few days ago and I was expecting the ass portion to be excruciatingly painful. I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't bad at all. It was actually one of the easier spots in my opinion. No drugs or anything. Just eat right and sleep well beforehand.

    I'm starting my full back piece on Saturday with Chad Woodley from Sanitary Electric. I just saw some of the preliminary sketches two days ago and I'm freaking out I'm so excited about it.

    Can we all please agree to stop referring to those who put tattoos on us as "my artist"? They don't belong to you. That is all. Thank you.

    I've never been called a "collector" in a shop before, but I have been asked if I was a tattooer on numerous occasions. My response is always that I'm just trying to do things right and support the tattooers I look up to and who are in it for the right reasons.

    So am I. Stop tattooing. Start getting tattooed by people with integrity and skill who have earned the right to be tattooers, and do it right. That's the most helpful advice you'll get if you want to learn how to start getting involved in tattooing for real.

    The thing that blows me away the most is the fact that he's posing as if he looks cool. I think bare arms with hands tattooed and a covered neck looks ridiculous, personally.

    When I got tattooed by Jeff Rassier I told him to "make it as weird as possible", and his responses was "I only know how to tattoo one way". It's just in him, I guess.

    I know that Grime has "SWAN SONG" on his, and Tim Hendricks has "GOOD LIFE" on his. I love both of those so much.

    Oh man! It's so great! Thanks for asking, @Graeme! It's so beautiful and it's such a pleasure to be able to ride my bike every day due to the lack of snow. It's definitely a much more expensive city than Montreal, but I'm really loving it so far. You should come out and visit some time!

    Starting my back (from top of shoulders to the bottom of my ass) with Chad Woodley from Sanitary Electric in June. He's doing a black & grey Fudo and it's going to be bad ass. Super excited about it to say the least.

    Just don't get your hands/fingers done until you have 2 full sleeves, and don't get your neck or face done until you have tattooed literally every other inch of your body.
