    I usually suggest flowers, mostly because with flowers, you can pretty much invent and add all kinds of shapes and methods of shading that can work to cover things, and keep it from looking like a coverup, which is my ultimate goal. I also recommend wizards or anything with a bunch of hair, because hair works so darn good to cover things. I do a ton of name coverups here in Harbor City, there's even a girl I tattoo who I have put names on and covered them only to do a new name a few months later. I always joke with her about how she singlehandedly pays my electrical bills with all the money she spends on her coverups.

    I got tattooed by Steve Boltz, and he did a pretty big eagle on my stomach in a little over an hour. I think it was about an hour and a half with a smoke break after the lining. Bert Krak is also pretty fast, though I haven't timed him.

    Rad can I get a plaque or something official as well that I can frame and put up at my station to make me look like I have a sweet art degree or am a member of a fancy tattoo organization? Because I am lacking these things as of now. It's ok if you just put in fine print something at the bottom explaining that I just got the award for posting a bunch, that would be ok. Thanks!

    All I know is if I had gotten every single tattoo I wanted when I was fifteen, I would have a shitload of garbage on me that I would probably be super bummed on. Right now I'm covering up pretty much a full sleeve of tattoos of stuff like Shaggy from Scooby Doo and bongs and shit that a guy got when he was 15. It's not the moral and societal issues that worry me, it's the subject matter that a 15 year old might think is bad-ass that might not seem so so badass to a more mature young adult/adult...

    A coworker of mine told me he actually saw a dude who's lip tattoo went so deep it blew out all the way to the skin on his face.

    I recently dealt with a co-worker with less than two years under their belt complain about how stupid their clients were etc...I got super pissed and suggested that they find a new line of work because we have the best job in the world, and people who don't appreciate the wonderful blessing we have as tattooers can go fuck themselves.

    yeah, it's a quick hundred bucks I guess, but I would have to hang the needle out like 15 inches to be far enough away from the blood/drool/ink mixture to not get grossed out.

    it looks rad the only thing I see is I would have done the eyes and mouth a different color, maybe yellow or something, to set it off from the background, but otherwise it looks cool.

    Yeah, I mean both of them had other tattoos, the dude was pretty fully covered. I'm not as much concerned with the lameness of it as I am with the grossness of the application. Blood mixed with drool mixed with ink mixed with me having to be close enough to see the plaque on their teeth...OK, I guess that's pretty fucking lame...

    Fuck, there was some offset in the universe and I ended up doing 2 inner lips yesterday. The first chick had food in her teeth, and the second guy wanted "awesome" written pike style filled in red...I had to tell him I was not capable of doing that, and I wasn't sure if anybody would be capable of that. I don't know if I would even want to be capable of doing pike lettering inside a lip. That shit makes me wanna barf.
