The shading, the brown, is like 4 days new. Artist said itll fade to grey.

Hello my name is Daniel, I just started my tattoo journey. Been involved very seriously in martial arts for 3 decades. Now 41. I do not know much about tattoos and healing. Been doing my best trying to understand things. Is my tattoo normal looking? Not so good? Good? I just got some shading done and I see it looks brown…is this normal first? Thank you kindly and I look forward to poking around here and learning.
