@passive jay. He means American traditional, it's the most popular style on this forum, so other styles don't get the same attention. That's really nicely done though and looks as though you like your futurama tattoos! The objection to the white, is because solid white tends to turn a slight yellow after the time an doesn't hold up so well, some artists use it, some only use it for highlights.

Whether one sits an 8, 4, 2 or 1 hour session, it's still time under the machine in my book. Every hour is painfully earned.

Okay, this is just a first pass - nothing is done except maybe the sea snake but there are no highlights or shadows for him yet either. On the right, hidden are two unfinished clownfish in an anemone. He'll keep laying things out to get the whole design before he goes back to finish each part completely. Next up will be some fish and coral on the right, and in the middle will be the deep blue with some shadowed critters in the distance. Kinda frustrating that nothing will be finished until everything is finished at the last minute!
FYI - This is a sea scene made from a number of pictures I've taken while diving. The sea snake I chased all over the bottom trying to get a close-up of him, only later to find out how poisonous he is! Oops! And I just love my eels!

Stunning. The details on the hair on each of them is just amazing. Not to mention your ability to sit for ridiculous amounts of time!

Just wondering...how do both the tattooer and the tattooee fight the urge to fall asleep during a 19-hour session?
Also, @SeeSea, could you bring an electric blanket in and cover the part of your back that isn't being worked on, or just your legs? Is that sort of thing allowed? I've only been tattooed twice now, but I brought ginger candy with me the first time -- the chewy kind usually made in Indonesia, you can get it at health food stores or Asian groceries -- and that helped settle my nerves and stomach immensely. It made a huge difference, if you like the taste of ginger.

I was visiting my Friend in His new tattoo shop in the small toen of Zwolle, Holland. I saw some old flash he had laying around. I just love rosés so i Told him i Would love To have it. So he gave it To me day Well spent (otherwise i Would be at home just playing watchdogs)

Thank you! Yeah it's already tied in except for about a square inch part at the bottom of the armpit. Unless I see you earlier, I will show you at the convention. Hopefully by that time I will also have my back almost complete.

I thought that was you. Congratulations on the progress thus far. They look absolutely amazing! I hope to see them in person next Convention. Have you begun tying in your back piece background with it yet?
