Tattoos may be a trend but they're not a passing fad -- partly because that ink isn't going anywhere. You can throw out that pair of '90s Hammer pants, but you're not getting rid of that tribal tattoo armband without a laser (or some high grit sandpaper).
I wish people would stop starting new threads to show off their new tattoos. That's what Latest Tattoo Lowdown is for. Otherwise you're just cluttering the feed. If someone wants to ask an actual question that's okay with me even if it's been asked before.
I'm confused. In the U.S. you pay for the tattoo not the design. Save up until you can afford the tattoo you want. There's no point in approaching artists until you're ready.

I hate to say it but he pretty much gave you exactly what you wanted. Some images just don't translate to the skin. This is why non-artists shouldn't design their own tattoos. Next time find an artist you like and give him/her a little more free rein.
Yesterday did four-plus hours of blasting black on my arm with Seth Wood, guesting at Memoir this week. Three more sessions to go. Can't wait for color. I like getting tattooed, the pain and everything. Is that weird?
That was my first impression too, @CultExciter. But after listening to almost nothing else for the past few days I'm digging it just as much if not more than the first one.
Plus you can't beat the price: free.
