The explore tab on Instagram is pretty gnarly. I have discovered a bunch of rad tattooers on there.

Not sure if I posted this, but I'm getting tattooed by Linsdey Carmichael during the holiday. Stoked! I have no idea what to get.

Once upon a time, I had a pretty interesting conversation with a girl I dated at the time, how she wanted to get a boob job. I told her I wasn't into it. Then she said, "So does that mean I can stop you from getting tattooed because I'm not into it?" Safe to say, we aren't dating anymore.

I think Chris Grosso is doing food docs now with Vice.

My parents are surprisingly neutral about it. My Dad even tried to justify it by saying, "You know, I see teachers get tattoos nowadays." If anything, I try not to advertise any new tattoos I've gotten or will be getting. But as I type that, why am I hiding the fact that I'm getting more tattoos? I'm not going to shove it down their throats, but if they happen to ask I will tell them. Side note: I do tend to get shy around any kind of parental figure aka other people's parents. I think I just assume all parents hate tattoos, even though my parents seem to be neutral about it, and not all parents are the same. I just have a tendency to cover up when around parents. But if anything, my parents know what kind of person I am, and that I have not changed. Maybe if your parents saw that, their opinions on tattoos would be different. On the bright side, you don't live with them. So you only have to deal with it when you visit them. In my case, I only see them twice a year.

My tattooer gave me tegaderm for the first time. So stoked. I totally forgot I had it on it. This is the best.

When I think of "bold" and "Japanese", I immediately think of Koji.

Trying out tegiderm/saniderm/that new new on my newest tattoo. The plan is to leave it on for five days without doing anything. We shall see.

That's the plan? Usually around the holidays I try not to get tattooed, and get gifts for my nieces/nephews.

Juan Puente for me in November, and then I'm done for the year! It has been a great 2014. Definitely the best tattoo year by far.

Here's my chest that I had done by Jason Phillips at FTW in Oakland. My only thing was no eagles (I already have one on my arm). I've always wanted this design on my chest. Finally came into fruition.

It was good! She's rad. Super nice. You should totally get something from her. She's fast too. She knocked out my tattoo in 45 min.

Even with restraint, I managed to get tattooed by Stewart Robson and Virginia Elwood, got a patch from Spider Murphy's (their new book looks so damn good), a shirt from Black Heart, and two posters for @abees , my wallet hates me too. But like everyone else, I'm so stoked with my weekend. No regrets!

Granted, I can't go with a full body suit anymore since I'm in too deep, I look forward to collecting a few 1-shot Japanese designs here and there. Everyone's been getting awesome flowers lately. Nice one! I love not going in with a plan. It's more fun that way. I'm still stoked all your tattoos are by Greg, and I'm sure he is just as stoked too. A "dream client", if you will. And yes, the elbow is god awful. But I promise you that your other elbow won't be so bad.
