    I'm the type that usually gets 1 shots. So the idea of an unfinished back piece might drive me crazy. Thus, the 1 shot back piece, haha. - - - Updated - - - Wow February 2015?!? That's wild!!! I pray for the day Rubendall will do Walk-in Saturdays, haha.

    I'm going for the whole "symmetry" thing. Thought about getting my knees done during the same session. Sounds like the stupidest idea ever. But I'm down. To take a week off from work. Because I won't be able to walk.

    I was inspired by Graeme's Instagram account when he posted that dude getting a backpiece in 5 hours. I've decided I would like a backpiece in a day as well. Trying to save up enough money to pay for two tattooers work on my back at the same time. Tax refund season couldn't come sooner.

    The City, SF, San Francisco. That's it! - - - Updated - - - When you say vintage, I immediately think of Paul Dobleman, Stu Cripwell, Theo Mindell at Spider Murphy's. Heath Preheim at Temple would be your guy too. Juan Puente at Blackheart can do anything and everything. Jason Phillips at FTW in Oakland, too. Shit, too many options! This is why I don't really want to travel for a tattoo anymore (with the exceptions of Regino, Santoro, Boltz, etc.) Jason McAfee at Temple kills it with the California tattoos. I would like to get one myself from him.

    One day I walked in to Temple and they were playing "Give Me Something To Dance To" by NWA. I was sold. Then as I was leaving, they were playing "Liquid Swords" by GZA. Temple fan for life.

    First time I ever heard about BitCoin was oddly enough, at a tattoo shop. There was this lengthy conversation about BitCoin while I was getting tattooed. Blew my mind.

    I didn't think the thighs were too bad. My worst spot ever will be the elbow. I dread getting my knees done, but at the same time I can't wait to get them done. Looks great so far. So jealous Invisible is your home base.

    Will you have a rental or are you on foot? There are a few bars in the vicinity, but nothing like next door or anything. Make Westing, Somar, The Legionnaire and Cafe Van Kleef are the closest within walking distance. My favorite bars, Trappist and Beer Revolution, are a little further and would probably require a car, but totally worth it. As far as food goes, depends on what you're looking for. If you have a car, Rosamunde for gourmet sausages is where I'd go. Trueburger has arguably the best burger in Oakland. Ike's has the best sandwiches in The Bay. Hawker Fare has awesome Asian fusion rice bowls. That's all just off the top. There's decent Mexican food that is actually walking distance from Temple. Not amazing, but it'll do for a quick fix. You can Yelp whatever's close to the area too depending on your preferences. Or when you check in for your appointment, just ask the counter help where they like to go. They're always going on food runs for the tattooers.

    Port City in Long Beach. Dark Horse in LA. Torch in Anaheim. Sid's in Santa Ana. Flying Panther in SD. Master Tattoo in SD. Too many good shops to name. This is just off the top.
