  1. I'm considering an elbow web myself at the moment, so i'd definitely lean more towards the "classic tattoo design" side!
  2. Sorry to be the one to rain on the parade, as much as i want that story to be true snopes.com: Obnoxious Airline Passengers
  3. I certainly don't 'know' Jordan, but i will say that every time i've been in the shop, the dude has had a big smile on his face. Here's hoping he makes a swift, full recovery and is back making awesome tattoos as soon as possible.
  4. Worst spot for me personally has been the chest/collarbone area, but i've managed to avoid (either through luck or subconscious fear) most of the areas that seem to have cropped up frequently in this thread. A lot of it can come down to the tattooer, too. I won't mention names (not that it's a negative), but the 6 hours i spent working on my thigh were a breeze compared to one ~90 minute long tattoo i had done on the outside of my forearm. I think one thing we can probably all agree on is that pain or no pain, we all keep signing up for more.
  5. Hate myself a little bit for knowing this, but i believe she's on one of the "ink" shows, NY ink if memory serves.
  6. Thank you for vastly decreasing my output at work today!
  7. Just followed a couple of people from this thread so i guess i'll make myself known. Instagram name is the same as my username here, a fair amount of my tattoos are on there along with mostly pictures taken while drunk. Ansel Adams i am not! Don't update much but i'm gonna try and make it more interesting, the london convention in september should be good photo fodder.
  8. Don't get me wrong, it took a couple of bad ones before i did what i should have done at the beginning - researched! Thanks for the warm welcome guys.
  9. I'm Gareth, 28, from Somerset in the South West of England. Have absolutely no artistic talent or creativity what so ever, so you'll be pleased to hear that i am sticking solely to being the canvas, rather than the brush (or machine in this case). Most of my tattooing experiences involve a fair amount of travel as i live ~3 hours drive outside of London, but i figure that's a small inconvenience for some excellent work (most of which i get done at Frith Street, by the way). Been lurking the forum for a while and thought i'd finally sign up to get involved.
