  1. Hey Jeff - Welcome to LST, and thanks for joining! Cheers
  2. We upgraded the forum today and added a new feature called 'Activity Stream'. It's located under the 'What's New?' and 'Forum' tabs and functions sorta like the FB 'wall' - just another way to keep up w/ the latest activity on LST. Enjoy. p.s. let us know if you find anything broken on the site that may be due to the upgrade today.

    Hello

Nice work Donn - welcome to LST!
  4. Welcome to LST Jose - great intro!
  5. yea.. that does seem like a weird anomaly. i'll have to add this to my list of things to investigate now.. thanks a lot Jake..
  6. Hey Iwar, I had no idea you were in a band, not too surprised I guess. I'm liking what I'm hearing - very brutal, cool lyrics. I played guitar in a band called The Sick from 1996-2008 - we're retired now, but here's some of our stuff: The Sick - On The Fence ..more here: The Sick
  7. Hi Guys, I'm making some changes to add the sidebar to the thread page - it will also be back on the forum view page soon. Sorry for the inconvenience. You will still have the show/hide sidebar option w/ the arrows at the top right. Cheers
  8. done: Tattoo Advice | Last Sparrow Tattoo We'll be migrating existing threads there over the next week or so. Thanks for the great ideas guys.
  9. Thanks for the heads up - I think I figured out why that happened to you and fixed it for others. If anybody w/ over 10 posts gets redirect to the 'forum rules' page, pls let me know.
  10. Thanks everybody for these great suggestions! I have implemented this one so that new users are now forced to check a box at the bottom of the (new) Forum Rules page to indicate that they have actually read them. (you won't see the checkbox unless you are new.) Let me know if the rest of you are also being forced to read the rules - I think I have it set up correctly, but one never knows.. Keep the suggestions coming as always - they are much appreciated!
  11. Do not start threads asking about specific tattooing equipment or techniques, LST is not here to teach anyone how to tattoo. Ask your own tattooer, the next time you are getting tattooed. Maybe they'll answer you, maybe they won't. Tattoo Newbie Guidelines :)
  12. That's a good question, thanks for asking it. the answer is yes, your post will appear under your LST username, however, you can log out of LST, then leave an anonymous review under a pseudonym if you'd prefer. ie, you don't have to be a registered LST member to leave a shop review. email address is required to post, but is not displayed.
  13. Fixed / Good catch - thanks David! Now I just need to get the notifications dealio working on that page. :)
  14. Aloha LST'ers, We have launched a new section on LST where you can rate and post reviews of all of the tattoo shops you have been to: Tattoo Shop Reviews | Last Sparrow Tattoo If you see a shop missing, just click the yellow 'add another tattoo shop' button at the top right and submit the shop name, location, and other details requested in the form and we'll add it to the list. Notice that there is an option to upload a picture of the tattoo that you got at the shop you're reviewing. Unfortunately the images are not linked to the LST Tattoo Gallery system at this time. Try it out and let us know how we can make it better!
  15. Hey Liz, i sent a password reminder email to you - you can also use the 'forgot password' link on the login page to reset your password anytime - here's the link: Lost Password Recovery Form - Last Sparrow Tattoo Let us know if that doesn't work. Cheers
  16. I like the rustic realism in this one - looks like it's carved in metal or something. My first tattoo was celtic inspired by Greg Kulz at Erno Tattoo.. I wish I'd never covered it up now.

    Giger inspired

I dig the anatomical aspect of this peice. I remember when H.R. Giger was all the rage. This is a great representation from that era.
  18. Hey Dan - that is pretty weird, for some reason it doesn't like 'research' in the post title - I tried every combo, but removing that word was the only way it'd show up..
  19. Ditto that - try using a different browser. Chances are that it has something to do with your cookie settings, an unsupported browser, or it's possible that the browser you're using has cached an older version of the site that is causing a conflict. Try doing a hard refresh: hold down the ctrl key and hit the F5 key..
  20. Chances are that your computer was rotating it for you when you viewed it locally, but the file was actually sideways. The site doesn't care how big your files are as it re-sizes them when they're uploaded. If they're ultra-huge, the upload may timeout, but that's probly the only limit there.. Cheers
  21. Hi Guys It looks like it's oriented correctly now - probly just took a while for Loch's changes to fully propagate. Let me know if you find otherwise.. Nice backpeice!
  22. @MGblues - thanks for reporting this. quick reply works ok for me in FireFox on XP, but I do see some other weirdness with the new editor. One plus of the new editor is that it does an auto-save every so often if you are typing a long post. Try doing a hard-refresh in your browser: hold down the 'Ctrl' key and press the 'F5' key. What browser are you using?
  23. Hey Folks, We upgraded the forum software today and I'm seeing a few glitches and tweaks that need to be made, but overall things should be working as expected. Please post in this thread if you find any major issues. Thanks Steve
  24. Hey David - I've upgraded the forum software and that seems to have fixed the FB connect system. Please try again and let me know if you find otherwise. Thanks
  25. Thanks for letting us know about this issue - it looks like there was a recent change over at FB that disabled our FB connect button - I hope to have it working again soon. thanks for your patience!
