I also got a lady head from Steve Boltz, which I am in love with, but all the pictures I tried to take were shit. Maybe I'll try again when it's healed...or maybe I'll just keep it to myself.

    That was supposed to be sarcasm. I prefer tattoos with lots of black and didn't know there was any such thing as too much, so I'm curious about what was meant by "too much black"... like if something weird can happen as it ages.

    I was planning to fly into LaGuardia because I was told JFK was more for international travel, which makes it sound like more of a mess. I haven't bought the tickets yet. My appointments are not for another month. Thanks for the coffee and pizza suggestions! I enjoy both those things quite a bit.

    Thanks for the responses everyone. There is one earlier flight that i didn't wanna take because it's wayyy earlier (like having to take off more work and wake up early (the horror)). But i'm just gonna suck it up and take the earlier flight to be safe.

    I guess Mark Cross is going on his indefinite leave early. Greenpoint called me today to cancel my appointment. I was trying to sneakily talk on my cell phone at work and didn't really get all the details but I thought the guy said something about a surgery.

    These are healed from Craig Boxcar Chaizen and Josh Adams, respectively, done around a month ago. I suck at pictures and any wonkiness is from the position i had to contort myself into to take the shot.

    Thanks for the reply. So what you're saying is pretty much yolo? Not sure what I'm gonna do. I kinda want full Japanese style torso and back, but I'll probably have the money for that when I'm 80 if I start saving up now.

    I got this from Josh Adams a few months ago. I love it but it healed up a little weird in one spot (between the hands). It's probably just cause I already had a dry skin patch right there and never noticed until it was tattooed. I just set up an appointment with Frank William in a week and a half and I am stoked.

    Has anyone gotten their ribs done first, then done a torso piece, or vice-versa, and regretted that order because of the narrower amount of space to work with? I'm planning on going this route (ribs then torso), but I'm not sure. Anyone have any input?

    Well I only shave my stupid face reluctantly, but good point. I guess I was thinking of my dorky friend wearing shorts in the winter and this kid at my college who ripped a bunch of holes in the back of his shirt so you could tell he had a back piece... but who cares, I'll let people get back to posting awesome tattoos.

    Damn. @heathenist I wouldn't mind how that looks, but I always think it looks douchey when people noticeably alter their clothing or style to show off their siqqq tats.
