  1. Our pleasure. Remember, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. As long as you want to do something and will like the finished product, that's all that should matter. Good luck.
  2. It looks like skin that's about to peel. But like JAC1961 said, it's hard to tell from one pic. Regardless of what it is, just be patient and let it heal. Reassess in a few weeks and talk to your artist if it needs a touch up.
  3. I think he's just pulling your leg. It looks great!
  4. This is a pretty good video to watch. I think she does a nice job of explaining placement. I think the image would work well as lower or upper arm. Just make sure he isn't upside down. Lol Really, though, it's all subjective. Beauty in the eye of the beholder and all that.
  5. Came to the right place. Enjoy your stay!
  6. Welcome! Your sleeve looks sick! For your back piece, maybe wear a halter top or tank top so you can easily pull down the side that's being worked on? Only an idea. I have no experience because A) I don't have a large back piece (yet) and B) I'm a dude.
  7. Your dog is super adorable!! Here's one of my dogs when she was just a pup. Maybe I'll post pics of her all grown up later (she's 11 now).
  8. I grew up with 2 golden doodles! The one would run in circles CONSTANTLY if he was excited. But yeah, Saniderm is fantastic. Doesn't it help with speeding along the healing process?
  9. Nothing's changed for me. I'm still using Dial Gold soap and Lubriderm (fragrance free).
  10. If you hadn't said anything, I don't think I'd have seen a swastika and still don't actually. The bottom right and bottom left of the 4 are clearly cut off. In my opinion, there isn't any room for interpretation. So I wouldn't worry about it. The thing is it's very easy for us to nitpick our tattoos and find all the flaws in them. Tattoo regret is common and you can get through this. As Hogrider said, give yourself some time before doing anything. But seriously, I think you're fine. Try to enjoy it. It's a sick tattoo. What video game is it from?
  11. Just got back from my first session since the pandemic hit. Never had a chance to get a touch up and glad that I was finally able to! My artist, Joshua Ross, gave it another pass through (going over the outlines especially). Should settle in nicely once healed. Now on to the itching, my favorite part. And whatever anxieties I felt a few weeks back have subsided. I'm embarrassed to have freaked out over it, and I really am quite proud of the way it's come out. Btw, I was stoked to find out that my tattoo was featured in the official Queen fan club magazine this month. Anyway, thanks to everyone who took the time to read and respond in this topic. Cheers.
  12. That looks so cool! Did your friend ever get Calvin? You should bug him if he hasn't already. haha
  13. No worries. Just thought it worth bringing up. Glad we could have a healthy conversation.
  14. I agree. It looks sweet. My bet is you'll probably grow to like it. At least give yourself that chance!!
  15. I agree that covering it up again will probably make it worse, especially if he jumps the gun too early. Like Hogrider said, if other people say they like it he should try to accept it and move on. I don't think, however, that he should never get tattooed again. He said that he's had tattoos before and this is the first time he's felt this bad about one. Besides, he hasn't really shared a whole lot with us. So if he's looking for advice, I'm not sure we can offer anything of substance. 🤷‍♂️
  16. I'm no expert, but in my research I've learned that there's a few possible causes for this. If it's an allergic reaction it can go away on its own. Some get it days after getting the tattoo and others years - it varies person to person. If it doesn't go away on its own definitely go see a dermatologist or at the very least talk to your tattoo artist. It could also be an infection caused by lack of proper care during the healing process. I've also learned that applying too much skin care products can essentially cause itchy, white bumps. Again, I'm not an expert and someone else here will probably have a better answer for you. But if you're that worried about it talk to your artist or see a dermatologist. Good luck and try not to worry.
  17. Yeah, looks normal to me as well. Just sit back and let the healing process do its thing.
  18. It probably isn't as bad as you think. What is it that really bothers you? It'd be easier for us if you shared a picture.
  19. I can understand and appreciate where long-term members are coming from. I see it on Queen forums too when new fans join and hit us up with FAQs.
  20. No worries. haha I'm used to being thought of as a girl...kind of figures when my username has Queen in the title. 😉
