  1. So, I'm posting in here again since I'm locked out of the other forums and making a new thread seems like too much. As you can see from the photo, my artist left space between the old and the new. I am positive I want the clouds to be darker. Thing is, I don't know if I should have him continue the lighter shade and fade up to the old tattoo to sort of connect it while keeping a contrast. Or if I should have it darkened and fill in the gap so there is no space (or a very small amount of space that but would seem difficult to accomplish) in between. He told me about how the lines could become muddy if we were to connect it. Looking for any ideas. Thanks.
  2. Of course. Won't be speaking with him for a while and the gf is tired of me asking for her opinion so I posted here 😄
  3. That's pretty spot on. I never even considered the size of it is what made it seem off, even before the added background. The larger hanya is a good idea. I'm a little worried about that stupid border I decided to get with it.
  4. So, not too long ago after sitting on it for a while I decided to get some japanese background added to 3 tattoos I have on my arm. So far it's looking awesome. There is one particular tattoo I have that I got on a whim that looks a little random. All this time inside has got me looking at it and wondering if it will fit in or still look random. Anybody have any opinions? Maybe even a coverup idea or to have my artist go over it in some way to blend it a little more? Thanks.
