I got my first tattoo almost a year ago! wow time flies! i feel kind of deja vu ish because i think i have talked about this tattoo in another thread somewhere but its my dogs names joia(no longer with me) and avelan(current) with a paw print. i thought about it for sooooo long and asked co-workers and friends what they thought and if i should do it, really whatever they said didnt matter because my mind was made up!

your stuff is pretty amazing!!! i love the geisha! i was taught to embroider by my best friend and her mom back when i was in college because i needed something to do while i was at work(my job involved a lot of waiting). i thought it was pretty cool for a while and made many little ones. then she taught me how to cross stitch and i fell in love, sadly havent done embroidery since then. while i was at there was this girl who would alway tell me i should sell my work because it was amazing, but i could not possibly imagine doing that becuase i get so attached, id rather make it and give it as a gift. i looked through your etsy site and it made me think of that seeing how much you are charging for a beautifully hand made piece.

have you heard of urban ink and rebel ink? yeay they fit all of Stewarts points above that make a magazine shit! ive bought it a few times and propbably wont buy it ever again. not worth my money. im definately going to look into some of the other magazines you guys were talking about above! BTW i thought your little apology above was very cute and it made me giggle! :) (i am not a stranger to embarrasement either!!! lol)

this is not a tattoo show related entry but i wanted to know if there are any other SO You Think You Can Dance fans out there that are also LSTers. i have been addicted to this show ever since it started 7 years ago. this year they did additions in SF and when i saw that, i automaticly thought of all you guys on the west coast!

i might buy one of the nike things ive been thinking about it for a while! any way the reason im addding to this thread is because i want to know if anyone else on this forum has heard of Isagenix? im told it s an AMerican company and i just started the 1 month cleanse last week and already have seem amazing results in pounds and inches lost. i ask because every time i mention the name i am surprised at how many people say they know the program. possible someone else on this forum has tried it and wants to share their experience. i think its fabulous so far and its just the challenge i needed before summer!

I just wanted to add a post to this thread mainly for the Canadians on this thread( and the Americans that are close to Canada) to let you know that there is a shop in Toronto that has some very Fine guests artists for summer 2011 if your interested. Hi all, I just wanted to find out if any of my fellow LSTers have any favorite podcasts that they would recommend. I've had iTunes for year and it wasn't until now that I started getting hooked on listening to a sampling of some of what's out there. I'm always open to listening to something new and expanding my horizons. So if u have a sec make a recommendation please!!

i have read a couple issues of this magazine as well. it was in the jan-feb issue that they spelt Nick Hurtado's name wrong in title of the article. i bought it because i recognized his name on the cover and then in the same issue there was an interview with Tim Hendricks that was really awesome. yea i agree that there are too many interviews with alternative models, it seems to outnumber the amount of interviews with actually artists. besides that the photos are really awesome and so far i have found that the articles are really well written and go really in depth with the artists compared to some other magazines ive purchased.

he was cooking dinner naked, when he heard a knock at the door and since he wasnt expecting anybody he decided to answer the door with knife in hand. as he heads for the door he slipped on some oil he spilled on the floor (ment to clean it up but forgot). the knife goes flying up into the air and he doesnt move out of the way in time and catches it with his face.

whoa thats a little bit freaky!! but very very cool once you get used to the very creative idea!

i got into another cooking fit this weekend and calories sooooo did not matter! i just wanted to try and make everything! so i made: butter chicken- it is my most favorite indian dish! due to all the cream in it i only make it once in a blue moon! 2 types of empanadas- i took a recipe from a mexican cook book that used a butter and cornmeal pastry for the outside and tomato seafood stew like filling. the other was a ground chicken, egg, olives and cheese filling in a non traditional pie crust pastry. both turned out so yummy! i served them with a fresh made salsa! i have been making my own pizza dough and trying different combinations of flour. i have been hooked on pizza with no red sauce just olive oil, oregano, roasted vegg, goat cheese and parm and baked until crispy. as i type i have a crust par baking becasue i really want to make a sweet pizza. i think im going to put lindt chocolate, toasted coconut, pistachio, maybe some dried fruit and marshmallows. mmmmm! i finaly got to BBQ after waiting and waiting! i made a ton of chicken souvlaki kabobs and did the same with mushrooms,red onion, zucchini and red peppers. when they were on the grill i brushed them with an herb dressing. fantastic!!! i also put asparagus and corn on there and it gives them the best flavour! then instead of butter and salt on the corn i put lime, mayo, chilli powder and cheese......gross sounding but soooooo good! tyler florence was talking about it on the food network, done by a restaurant in SF i think?

i just saw a commercial for NY ink on tv the other day and i found myself getting all excited again . i cant explain it. maybe its the way they put the commercial together but it got me hook, line and sinker........AGAIN!!! hahaha. or maybe its that i just cant resist Ami james and his incredibly good looks( jks :p)
