  1. I remember a similar thread from a couple of years ago. Try searching "norwegian"
  2. @thyes a tip of the hat and a serious bow to any tattooer who can pull off the detail of that 2nd image on an elbow!
  3. I don't understand it. A massive tragedy.

many of us have been there, too.

    Advise Wanted!!

Well, you've got 3 different styles trying to tie together on 1 shoulder. It's dark enough that you probably can't really manipulate that space (without covering it with all black and adding white design), so my guess is you'll need to add significantly around it. And while that ink appears to have been put in there thoroughly, I'd spend some time finding someone with more of an artistic eye for the approach, too.

    Hello

and, really - in this day and age, the point is mute. There is no problem at all readily finding a tattooist who will happily tattoo whatever anyone wants, anywhere - and honestly, in this day and age, the stigma of some small hand and/or neck tattoo isn't going to affect many employment opportunities. At least in bigger cities. The new generation has more freedom to express (and possibly regret - and that statement is not a reflection on this particular case).
  7. Well, the Thai's are famous for their lady-boys . . . ! 😏
  8. Any text tattoo has really got to be over-the-top special for me to appreciate it as art. If it were me, instead of names/dates I'd be looking for some personal image that reminded me of my (your) family dynamic, or the personalities involved.
  9. yep, as long as those red spots where the pot rim meets the plant is actual color and doesn't get hot.
  10. I get crazy specific spam on my work email. Perhaps this is the equivalent?

    Hello

A great education is available here. Welcome!
  12. Yep. Now you just need to continue on down the torso . . . both sides! ;)

    Tattoo Peel

    Fingers are notorious.
  14. Maybe an arm band? I'm 6'3" and the widest part of my forearm is just over 12" in circumference . . .
  15. and that's assuming the bra line is straight itself!
  16. Cool. I like her work, and it looks like she's getting the ink in there nicely. I wouldn't go any smaller than 12x4cm and I'd also encourage you to consider larger so more detail could be included. If you end up doing forearm you might also consider up and down instead of cross-ways.
  17. can you send a link to your artist's portfolio?
  18. There really isn't any "usual" on matters like this. If I were you I'd get that last palm sized one done. See if that artist has any ideas that strike your fancy on filler(s). Otherwise just keep checking with others for their ideas until you hear one you like. Maybe even more dots by Tomas?

    Faded new tattoo

Doesn't look like the tattooist got a lot of ink in there, but the design itself isn't conducive to long-lasting clarity.
  20. There are not a lot of tattooists who can pull off tiny tattoos with that kind of intricate detail, so you're either going to be lucky and located in just the right area or be willing to travel. Tiny, fine-line tattoos haven't been around long enough for any 10-20 year "before and after" comparisons, but it doesn't seem realistic that their clarity would last for a long time. On the other hand, they'll be easy to cover with something bold.

    Tattoo meaning?

tattoos don't have to have deep meaning (neither do they have to signify anything at all)
