    Hello!

    Welcome, Pedro!
  2. send us a link to your artist
  3. Yeah, there is alot of historical threads on same/similar topic - but if you're set on text then the real question is are you capable of picking a serious artist. Who've you got? The standard response to the image part of the question = It's not about expressing to strangers what your thought or emotion is - it's about picking an image that resonates with YOU.
  4. Got to watch Robert Ryan last night. Wish I'd have had all that background before getting tattooed by him . . .
  5. The utilization of blood instead of ink isn't so much of a stretch for me as me not understanding the motivation behind her need to replicate and wear some ancient person's unknown markings. I can't relate, but in any case - that's her choice, so I respect that.
  6. That 2nd picture looks a little suspect for infection, but the others not so much. Application looks to be done by someone without extensive training/experience which probably accounts for scabbing still after a week or more.
  7. looking forward to those, pictures, @Bearcat78!
  8. Tell her you had it drawn like that just for her!
  9. Try not looking at it for a month.
  10. Yeow! He got a lot of work done in 4 hours = AND on a soft spot. Nice sitting.
  11. Nothing 100%. I've had sleeping contact t-shirts, sheets and pillows where it just came out in the normal wash, and I've got shorts that only got splattered and that ink is never coming out.
  12. Nope. Color very regularly covers black line blowouts, but color blowouts are rather rare.
  13. Even taking the tattoo out of the equation I'd be going to see a doctor . . .
  14. Nothing wrong with the execution of that tattoo. If "perfection" is what you're looking for in tattoos then you probably shouldn't be getting any.
  15. ^this. and it could still just be bruising, too. Relax and wait another month.
  16. 1. You've only been thinking about this for a month or so 2. You don't have any other real tattoos or tattoo experience 3. Any tattooer who might be willing to black out any novice's genitals would be highly suspect in my book . . .
  17. Just saw that Jeff Rassier will be there . . . damn

    welcome, and pictures please!
  19. Just booked my next appointment for Sept 21st. Getting both feet done (at the same time) by Randy at Eye Candy. Gonna take a few days off from work so I can relax at home with my peds tagidermed and elevated.
  20. @pidjones lol, I had to look at that 1st picture twice. At 1st I thought that green chair in the background was a child seat attached to the back of the bike. Whew. Then I had to look at the 2nd picture twice. 🙂
  21. In Philly: Matt Lambdin = https://www.instagram.com/lambdin_/ Ant Walsh = https://www.instagram.com/antwalsh_art/ Tim Pangburn = https://www.instagram.com/timpangburn/ you'll probably get some other member's favorites for there, too. You've also got dozens and dozens of capable artists if NJ/NYC is doable for you, too.
  22. Agreed on the "hard to see". Balance answer is that "it depends on the artist", as pulling off a waterfall tattoo is going to stump many/most tattooists. What you've got doesn't look overly dark, so my guess is that reworking it with color should be an option. Happy to make recommendations if you like. Where do you live?
  23. Dan is a wonderful artist, in all of his themes @Gingerninja! I'll certainly be jealous if you can score one from him.
