  1. Hunter - you might want to double-check the rules page for this forum . . .
  2. Dave Koenig is in Omaha . . . https://www.instagram.com/davekoenigart/
  3. Now you're talking. Artistry and application look really good.
  4. @Gingerninja selectivity can be your silver lining!
  5. You've got the entire world of Chicago at your fingertips . . . Pictures of what you've got so far?
  6. Yep. You're just going to have to find other artists with a similar style and keep asking until someone is interested.
  7. looks pretty normal for 1 week, to me.
  8. Overlapping is not a problem from my side, but let your artist weigh in on it, too.
  9. This guy's work seems to be a bit better . . . https://www.instagram.com/dpulsestattoo/
  10. Yesterday morning I removed my tagaderm "sock" that I made Saturday morning (after Friday night's session). Too convenient.
  11. Not in my opinion - and that's assuming that the space between will also end up with additional neo-traditional.
  12. sorry, no technical advise is permitted on this forum . . .
  13. Closer to the South Lamar studios (like Rock of Ages, etc) is the best ramen on earth = Tatsu Ya. Truly spectacular.
  14. Part of the answer relates to "why did you get a tiger and/or lion tattoo?" in the 1st place. Maybe your motivation should come from the same place and drive the "what's next?" bus . . .
  15. @otisc If you haven't already visited Lazarus Brewery while you were in the area, you might want to make a point of that in April . . .
  16. Certainly you should try NO moisturizing, if you are still doing so . . .
  17. You're probably not going to get a specific appointment for something so small. Inking time will be less than 1 minute. Total time in front of the tattooist will probably be less than 10 minutes. Be prepared to pay a shop minimum (which will vary depending on which shop in Boston, but probably $75-100). I'm not familiar with the shops there, but the pitfall is that it takes almost nothing to screw up very simple design like this, so you don't want to end up in the hands of some newbie apprentice or an experienced person who isn't really invested or interested in helping you out. It's going to be a balancing act. 2nd on @Dan's comment regarding the white ink choice
  18. surround it with awesome tattoos! Learn how to find an artist who already nails the specific style and feel for what you want to wear, and let them do their thing.
  19. Monochromatic = 1 tone. Not enough contrast. Also the darker leaves are not a bad thing. The more "translucent" it starts off being the more likely that a few years down the road it's end up being invisible or indecipherable.
  20. Sorry, but new to me . . .
  21. that worked out really well, @niceandall!
