  1. at least it's not super dark, but without lasering first it's never going to look "dainty".
  2. Spider Webb is the only one I cared to remember the name of, way back when.
  3. Assuming you're going direct from the shop to the train station I'd leave it on, and I'd have some back-up cling wrap and tape just in case.
  4. You don't need to confine yourselves with style restrictions. If you're like many of us here you will find that over the coming decades your personal tastes in art and tattoos will evolve, change, broaden, expand, loosen - or however you want to view it. Museums rarely have only 1 type of art. 😉
  5. Having a bath is one thing, but I would only "soak" once it's 100% flat (no scabbing at all).

    Hi I'm new here

Hiya, @Grug! What's the new plan going to be? Theme and Artist picked out yet?
  7. Welcome! I wouldn't think so much about altering that one as much as I would putting more around it. Geometric patterned dotwork would work really well.
  8. welcome, and yeah - let's see what you've got!
  9. Correction - I'm just now noticing I see them on some messages (not just @Dan) that involve a quote of a previous post.
  10. I've been following Justin for a while, @grog. Indeed anxious now to hear/see how it goes!
  11. I'm definitely seeing in on your posts @Dan. No where else, tho.
  12. Sounds like it's not exactly a tattoo related problem . . .
  13. I don't, aside from hands and fingers have an extra amount of nerves and tattoos on them can be tricky.

    Overthinking

Fading is usually a result of poor application or too much sun.
  15. 2018 was decidedly a slower year from me than 2017 - and purposefully. I did start both of my feet in November and my next appointment for them (possibly finishing?) is Jan 17th.
  16. Too early to tell, but you're probably fine. Especially with thick scabs, it could easily be 4-6 weeks or more before everything flattens out 100%.
  17. A week from today! I hope you post pictures after your session. 😉
  18. My wife actually did fall asleep during a little 1.5 hour back (shoulder blade) session. Convention setting with a bunch of noisy tvs, sound systems and machines blaring away. The resulting white noise put her out!
  19. @abh12301 Yes, it'll be fine. Just keep it clean and don't scratch the scabs off. It should be noted that no tattoo is "healed" once the saniderm comes off - the cover just keeps it clean and minimizes scabs/peeling during the healing process. It'll probably be a couple of weeks before your skin is smooth again - and a full month before it's close to being 100% healed.
  20. Yes, relax. The flakes have to come off. Just like a scab.
  21. 5-6 hours of ink time for your 1st tattoo is a bit of a gamble. Post a link to your artist's work . . .
