welcome. figure out how to insert pictures!
  2. The reaper side is less readable, and it's darker so will be tougher to re-work. Price will depend on several factors that will vary/artist. I'd be prepared for a $2-3000 estimate, and that's not including travel costs. Send us links to potential candidates and we can assist with the search if you like.
  3. Great - you should have some good options. So, where are you located?
  4. If it were mine, I'd have someone with more artistic talent re-work it - but I'm fussy about my art. There's probably 10,000 tattooists in the US. There's probably only 1,000 that I would consider "good artists". Time in tattooing does not = good artist.
  5. Some artists will leave important details until the last session in an effort to make sure you come back for the last session. That way they get to finish the work to their own standards. Imho he looks to be average, artistically.
  6. no, but it certainly is possible. gotta find a reputable shop and a tattooist who is honest about the ability, tho. Do you know what style of tattoo you're interested in?

Welcome, and I do pretty good, thanks. Do you currently have any tattoos? If so, pictures, please.
  8. It depends on the size and properties of the scar - but mostly with the experience the tattooist has working with scars.
  9. paid in full in advance!!?? This is very unusual, and you might be in big trouble already. Post a link to the shop and/or tattooist.
  10. white on black is a thing - and can be good applied by the right artist, but the application of the cover that's there so far isn't good, so I wouldn't have any confidence that she's going to be able to fix this . . .
  11. There's also the question = Can someone else do work which is just as nice for less? There are some really talented biomech folks out there who don't charge that - so is this artist's work that much better to justify it in your eye?
  12. Yeah, honestly with what you've got there I'm highly suspect of the "artistry" in your tattooist. Let's see a link to his/her work.
  13. 4-6 weeks to know what you've got. let it settle.
  14. several laser treatments will get it back to where you can fix it. Once that's done, stop going to the cheapest alternative.
  15. Not really. Did you get this from a real shop from an established tattooist? pictures.

    Blowout?

4-6 weeks to tell what you've got.

    Tattoo cloudy

4-6 weeks for healing. gotta wait for it.

    Small blowouts

yeah - let is settle. 4-6 weeks before you'll have any real accurate idea of what you've got. And, if those are blow-outs, they're minor at worst.
  19. 4-6 weeks at least. It will lighten up. For that style I think it looks great and well applied. You're doing quite well so far!
  20. Indeed. Post a picture of what you've got and let us know what you'd like.
  21. guess that would depend on which artist(s) you were intending to visit . . .
  22. welcome! have you decided on a tattooist yet? Send a link.
